Answer: The trick about night fishing is sound becomes more important since sight is a problem especially in less clear water. Bladed jigs, spinner baits or at a minimum a trailer with some sort of thump er tail would be better

What a RIP OFF! Ad is VERY misleading, as it is presented to make you believe you're getting 10/ea of what you see, when in fact you get 10 plastic minnows, BUT ONLY 2 JIG HEADS! I realize you can reuse the heads for all the minnows, but somewhere it should be stated you're only getting two heads. Feels like a bait and switch to me (pardon the pun). Very disappointed in this purchase!

Wow! At first, I was a little hesitant on using it. Looked too small, no rattle or wiggle action. Water clarity was very poor. Somehow someway, I had so many hits!! I was on a kayak so I jigged, casted and trolled with it. Most hits were from trolling so technique wasn't why. I'm not all that great at presentation. Twitching, slow/fast retrieve, etc wasn't the reason. Go figure.

This will now be a must bring no matter where I go and it's so easy because it doesn't take a lot of space in my tackle box.

I have been catching 18" + rockfish from the docks with these. They look just like the shiners they feed on at night under the lights.

PT : Somewhat Unclear Product Listing

While there are 10 Black Shad, only two come rigged with hooks and weight (sort of a jig head) that you see in the product photo. Guess you'll have to rig the other 8 by yourself. Thought I was buying 10 ready to go. Berkley could be a little more transparent with the product description when they say "Pre-rigged and ready to fish." Should say "2 are Pre-rigged and ready to fish."

Very effective bait, used during a shad spawn, and the bass mauled it for several hours. Used on 4lb light gear.

Will always have a pack of these in the bag from now on.

Not all lures have hooks (only 2), The hooks have nice weights on them to keep fish "swimming" horizontal, but if you lose it in the reeds and have to cut line, you lose those weighted hooks. That was a bit disappointing.
