Rapala DT Series lures, designed by crankbait authority David Fritts, all dive faster and stay in the strike zone longer than any other crankbait on the market. Numerous tournament wins and record catches in the series' maiden year attest to its superior design and fish-catching function. DT Series lures are made from the top seven percent of select balsa wood. Perfectly consistent wood combined with carefully placed internal weights, a tapered fuselage and a thin tail creates the ultimate crankbait action.

Caught my first three large mouth bass I. Korea on this when nothing else worked. Eventually lost it on a submerged log and instantly ordered another.
Postman : They catch fish but they don't hold up
I like these baits, but they're not made well. I catch a lot of bass. I've lost several baits and a couple fish because of this problem they have with breaking. Throw a cast the bill breaks off and the body goes flying. Worse is when you hook a fish and the line goes limp because the bait broke off in the fish's mouth.
I purchased a bunch of these. Pictured is the next to last one in my tackle box. I have mailed several back to Rapala to have them replaced under their 1 year warranty. They promptly sent beck a replacement. But Postage and packaging costs almost as much as the bait! It really isn't worth the trouble and now they remaining lures I have are past the 1-year warranty though I still have some which have never been used.
The Strike King Squarebills don't do this. See the picture I attached. I won't buy these DT baits ever again.

I absolutely love the DT series lures and this is my favorite. When the bass are being finicky it's my go to crankbait. Always runs true and at the desired depth and yup, you guessed it, it puts 'em in the boat!
