The first scale arrived and would not weigh anything or send the data to a connected phone.
The replacement item would weigh items but the weight would drift plus/minus 0.2lb. The scale would connect to an Android phone and send the correct weight to the phone as displayed on the scale. However, you could not record the length of the fish as described or do anything else with the data like send it to email etc. The instructions indicated that a second app Netfish could be installed on your phone but it still did not allow you to add length or a photo or perform any other option described in the manual and gave an error message that said the function is not yet available. Later on the Netfish app after closing was reported by the phone to still be consuming battery power and apparently running something in the background.

Opened it and downloaded the app, everything connected and tests were accurate using dumbells and what not laying around the house (certainly not calibrated equipment, but it worked in a pinch). Looking forward to using as a recorder for catches, both for size etc, and for location bait and weather conditions. The ruler is a nice addition, easier than carrying my bump stick everywhere to record catches for online tournaments. So far everything I hoped for... I dont see any potential issues, but will update of anything goes array.
