I use this to weigh fish I catch. I like that I can register the weights instantly on the app, although I’ve only tried it once, at home, just to test it. I dislike the weak lip grippers; very hard to use them so I don’t bother. Quite a few times I got frustrated because the scale would not power on, even after changing to new batteries. It appears that the batteries do not fit snugly in their compartments so it doesn’t turn on when needed! Took me a while to figure this out; Most unreliable scale I’ve ever owned.

Went to weigh a fish...showed 29 lbs. (fish was 4-5) went home and tried it out, scaly was stuck on 29. Updated the ap and it set to zero. Stuck on zero. Will not weigh. Piece of crap!

Opened it and downloaded the app, everything connected and tests were accurate using dumbells and what not laying around the house (certainly not calibrated equipment, but it worked in a pinch). Looking forward to using as a recorder for catches, both for size etc, and for location bait and weather conditions. The ruler is a nice addition, easier than carrying my bump stick everywhere to record catches for online tournaments. So far everything I hoped for... I dont see any potential issues, but will update of anything goes array.

I ordered and received one that was dead out of the box. I had to return for a new one. The second one seems to work fine.
They were quick to replace.
