Answer: I don't know, I have not used it yet. It a standard fillet knife like the ones you find at Big 5 or any sporting goods store.

Answer: I think so, but it's not the best idea to dishwasher fillet knives, due to their thin construction.

I love the knife for the ability to filet and do its job, it is just too big for my small gear bag, it hangs out the top. Also the sheath is not the best quality and if you arent careful (and I wasnt) it will stick you with the tip!

For the price not too bad of a knife. My order was delivered quick, within 7 days from purchase. Nice looking wood handle. Unfortunately the knife came in with a cracked handle. I was excited about this product so I was a little disappointed. I still want it, so I'm going to return it and order a new one. I'm giving it a 3 for now, but will definitely revise it when I get to use the next one. Hopefully I wont be disappointed.

Great looking knife with nice features for the price. Sharpens well. Would have given it five stars for the price, except the case snap does not work. I have a couple of other fillet knives like the Rapala that are just plain dull and ugly. This one is sharp and just looks great. I have a great fillet knife that costs a lot and stays at home to use since I do not want to lose it. This one I can take with me, it looks great, is sharp, and if it walks or swims away, I will not be upset.

I have bought several of these knives because I wanted a good cheep knife to keep in each fishing boats. I am a knife nut and have fillet knives that I gave over $200.00 for I like this one better. The only problem I can think of is so do everyone else. I can't keep them in my boats because they get stolen, even though they don't cost much it still is a problem when you get out fishing and find that your knife is gone.
