Answer: It's a good sharp knife with a good curve to the blade. Can be used on any fish that's big enough to filet.

Answer: The wooden part of the handle is 4.5 inches. if you include the finger guard the total length is 5.5 inches. Overall length is 12in. It has a full tang blade that has a nice flex to it. I am pleased with the knife

Is it dishwasher safe?

Answer: I think so, but it's not the best idea to dishwasher fillet knives, due to their thin construction.

Answer: Very sharp. I have had it for about a year and it is still very sharp. The blade is super flexible as well. Great knife, best buy I have made in a long time.

Very poor quality, blade was bent and barely had an edge. Handle is pretty decent tho, works great for throwing it away. Idk what i expected for 10 bucks

Cant complain about this knife,
it has a full tang, wood handles and comes with a sheath. It came very sharp out of the box
and seems to be a solidly constructed knife, simple and sturdy.

I bought a Mustad about a year ago and the first time I used it , the handle became loose.
It has a fancy rubber grip handle, plastic vented sheath, but not a full tang, I don't trust it anymore.

For the price not too bad of a knife. My order was delivered quick, within 7 days from purchase. Nice looking wood handle. Unfortunately the knife came in with a cracked handle. I was excited about this product so I was a little disappointed. I still want it, so I'm going to return it and order a new one. I'm giving it a 3 for now, but will definitely revise it when I get to use the next one. Hopefully I wont be disappointed.

Remarkable knife for $10 shipped. As soon as I received it today, I ordered another. I plan on giving one as a gift.

The knife would be 5/5, but there are some finish issues. The rivets are not ground completely flush with the handle, so they are a little rough. Also, the knife is difficult to put in the sheath. The end of the sheath is just nylon, so I imagine the tip would eventually wear through.

UPDATE- Received the second knife. Presentation box damaged, blade bent, wood handle does not match flush with the tang.

It is probably not worth going through the hassle of returning such a cheap knife.

I would recommend using caution in ordering this product. You may end up with something nice, or a bent hunk of metal.

I love the knife for the ability to filet and do its job, it is just too big for my small gear bag, it hangs out the top. Also the sheath is not the best quality and if you arent careful (and I wasnt) it will stick you with the tip!

Great looking knife, but lost its edge almost immediately upon use, which doesn't help much when you are fishing in the backcountry and trying to fillet fish. I bought a blade sharpener at Walmart, which managed to make it somewhat useable, but it never really made it to "fillet knife" quality. Also, the sheath is pretty low quality, allowing the tip of the blade to poke through the bottom -- which resulted in a minor cut once.
