Answer: I haven’t used any containers other than the bags (FoodSaver Bags work just fine BTW). So I really can’t say. May buy just 1 FoodSaver container and try it
Answer: I tried using these bags with a FoodSaver brand sealer and I couldn't get any of them to seal. Returned them and purchased the actual FoodSaver bags and they worked with no issues.

Answer: I use mine for meat, but in microwave I would try 5min in a 1,000 watt

What can I say? The bags came in a nice box for storing them and are perfect for any Geryon vacuum sealer. 50 is more than enough for us at the moment but I did vacuum seal 8 bags of cut up hot and sweet peppers yesterday to freeze so I can use them as fresh as I can get this winter. Store prices will be much higher even if you can find them. Highly recommend these bags and considering the protection from freezer burn and other great uses the price is fair.

I also have the Geryon Vacuum Sealer, which is great. I find that these bags work well for me. The portion size is perfect. I also have the roll in case I am freezing larger or irregular size items. I am very satisfied with this item and it arrived quickly. I have tried other bags but they have not worked out as well.

I tried both the roll and the pre-cut product. Pre-cut ones really do save time, money (fewer cutting errors and easy to reseal if contents not all used) and are so easy for even newbees to use. First seal looks professional. Great suction achieved and professional appearance. I'm a pre-cut using mom from now on.

My husband and I purchased this so that we could vacuum seal meat. In the beginning, this device worked great. We were able to seal meat from 4 rabbits. Since then, we've used it twice. It's become more and more finnicky since then. Quite often, the vacuum seal feature will start going off without being prompted. The heating element now takes forever, and is not consistent with its output. We used it for the fourth time this weekend, and we couldn't decide whether or not the device is on its way out. It took us 45 minutes to vacuum seal six packages of meat. Between the heating element not working properly, the vacuum suction not pulling strong enough, and its buttons just going off at random, we were extremely frustrated.
