Are these bags also good for freezing?

Answer: Yes, that's what I bought them for and they seal really well. It helps to partially freeze the meats so the machine doesn't suck up the moisture. Otherwise the bags won't seal properly.

Answer: I haven’t used any containers other than the bags (FoodSaver Bags work just fine BTW). So I really can’t say. May buy just 1 FoodSaver container and try it

Answer: I tried using these bags with a FoodSaver brand sealer and I couldn't get any of them to seal. Returned them and purchased the actual FoodSaver bags and they worked with no issues.

Answer: We’ve used the Greyson precut and self cut roll and they work fine

Where can I buy 11 inch wide bags for geryon?

Answer: Amazon carries 8 x 12, If you need 11x11 I'm not sure

Answer: I don't have a food saver - but a bag is a bag. These are designed to be vacuumed and heat-sealed. They are strong and right for it;s intended purpose.

Answer: No. They are not reusable..

Answer: I use mine for meat, but in microwave I would try 5min in a 1,000 watt

Answer: I don't know. Never put in microwave but have put them in boiling water with no problem.

SO glad I ordered this after being so undecisive for so long. Now buying, storing and cooking for one will be less complicated. I can buy larger quantities and portion them out without fear of not being able to consume it before it gets freezer burned. I also have used half (cut to size) of the quart bags to portion out my favorite corn chips and now can take a pack as a snack to work, and (again) not have to eat the whole big bag quickly - I hate stale chips! posted a photo of the same 73% ground beef from BJs a month apart (I buy 5 lbs at a time and freeze). No more double freezer zip-bags - money down the drain because I won't wash & reuse meat bags. ! See if you can guess which pound is which??

I have had very poor results with these bags. I seal them in a vacuum chamber sealer and all looks great. But when I pull them from the freeze a few months later the bags have quite a bit of air in them. If I want to sous vide the item I have to rebag and seal the food before placing it in the water bath,
