I never recieved mine?

I just received this as a christmas. got the black with red flake straight tail. how would you suggest i rig this and with what tackle?? thanks in adv

Answer: I'm not a bass fishermen; I use these minnows for walleye and white/silver bass on the Detroit River and adjoining Lakes Erie and St. Clair. The minnows are threaded onto the hooks of 1/4 to 1 ounce jigs of various colors. The minnow must be threaded onto the hook so it extends straight behind the jig. Additionally, I always add a 2 1/2 to 3 inch, No. 8 or 10 treble hook stinger to the jig. Use the best stinger hooks you can afford. If the assembly is correct the stinger hook will fall just short of the end of the minnow. For you bass guys I would suggest using the minnows just as you would use a small plastic worm.

Answer: I rigged it as a texas rig with a small hook or i would just pass the hook once trough the head of the lure. Would install a split weight about 10 invhes from the lure so it would run along the bottom.

Are these infused with salt?

Answer: I saw nothing that indicated salt infusion. I don't believe it would make sense for fresh water fishing.

Answer: Not sure but they definitely catch fish. I caught an almost 3lb smallmouth bass on watermelon green.

On first try: Caught 4 Redbreasted Sunfish in a very short duration and got numerous bites while fishing from the banks on the Tar River. Seems to be a panfish magnet.

Update 1: Over the past year it has been the most prolific bait for panfish, used with hook, jighead and drop shots. Even caught some largemouths and a chain pickerel.

Update 2: The price keeps increasing. The current price is unreasonable at $7.69 for 12 worms, which breaks real easy. Reducing one star.

Bass and Perch LOVE these. I can't even see them when they're in the water but the fish can. I've been using these on a #6 eagle claw hook with very good results. I will be buying more soon.

EDIT: I ended up catching bluegill and walleye on these as well now. I highly recommend them!

I bass fish a good bit, I can typically get bass to bite when they don't want to with these on a drop-shot setup. In caparison to the KVD's these are next best. Definitely worth the money on these.
