Can I just act as if this was a real worm or should I reel it in?

Answer: For better results from my experience; I decided to place just a piece of the worm on the hook before the bait. That way it gives it the moving affect in the water. I then decided to put 1/3 of my worm on the hook and reel in every five minutes or so. (a little slower than normal)

I ordered these on a whim and they did take longer to be delivered but it was worth the wait. I dipped them in garlic seasoning and they have been great for catching trout and sun fish in the local ponds. When you first get them you need to lubricate them in mineral oil but they turned out great.

I was disappointed with these. They were nothing like the picture. They were less then one inch pieces of thin rubber like things. Bout the thickness of a small rubber band. Did not resemble worm and too thin to put a hook through. Wasted my money. Glad they were cheap.

Was listed as a bait for bass. I fish with 1 and 2 inch soft plastics all the time, this isn't that. They're so small, they're useless for bass and only actually fit on the smallest of hooks, size 16 to 20 treble. They're little anorexic maggots, at best.

I don't know why so many people are complaining over how small they are. If you want big "earthworms" for fishing just go buy a pack of senkos. I use these for pan fishing off docks and I've caught many hybrid bluegill with them. They however are very cheap and get red dye all over.
