Answer: No the version I got was the most recent and they dropped ky and Tn lake master Plus v1 still has them, I picked up one in my local marine shop they haven’t updated to version 2 yet. Unless you are getting lakemaster for the follow the contours for MK trolling motor I’d suggest you get the Navionics card instead. There is one that you can get that cover the entire US for the same price as lakemaster plus you get updates for a year. Little harder to figure out because you have to download the updates but research it and it’s not a problem. I prefer my navionics over LM better detail more coverage

Answer: I have not used it one Erie but its pretty much just a guidline and helps eliminate water and get you into the right area. I don't see why it wouldn't help you in Erie.

I use this primarily in the Thunder bay Michigan area and it is super accurate. Originally I was going to map the bottom of thunder bay by using my Helix sonar then I came to my senses and spent the hundred bucks.

I love this chip....get it. I have saved a hundred buck in fuel in the first couple of weeks and it makes planning a trip much easier.

I missed before purchase that the card did not have Saginaw Bay on it. How can a Great Lakes card NOT have Saginaw Bay? Lake St Clair is a high def lake, but contour labels are not on the map. Other HD maps are quite good, but some non-HD lake maps are essentially useless. When changing lakes one has to exit the lake the map is on and go back to "lake list" and find the new lake. There is no list of "favorites" available to quickly change lakes. I'll keep it just for the fact that some features of Lake St Clair are shown and are missing from my other maps. I know the area well enough so that if I can navigate the boat to the feature, I can fish it well. Overall, it's a disappointment.

Ontario chart: as much as 30 FEET off in depth, must certainly NOT TO BE TRUSTED!! I do not know who or how these charts (maps of are LAND) but some places is looks like someone just guessed at the contours. Example: Pigeon Island, west end, charts shows 20'-25' but it is only 10'. That will wake you up if you are night fishing.

After installing Lakemaster into my Helix 7 I was immediately disappointed to see that the chart quality was different for the Helix 7 compared to the charts for the Onix and Solix. I communicated with 3 different Humminbird representatives before deciding to make my purchase. They were professional and courteous but it became obvious that none of them had any hands on experience with the product. I had Navionics on my old Hummingbird 598 and was expecting at least equal or better quality with a much newer version of Lakemaster on my Helix 7. The image quality and color options were poor and very limited. Many of the reviews and several forum threads consistently recommended Navionics over Lakemaster. I should have listened. If you are considering buying this product be aware that your Unit must have networking capability and you will possibly need to download additional upgrades to utilize all the options advertised. I would not recommend buying this product.
