With more weights, Braille Lines, and stronger mono, these nets are built for the discriminating angler who demands a premium net. The 300 Series Cast Nets feature Premium Blue UBE Chip Monofilament Netting, 1/2” square mesh, 90 lbs test Braille Lines, and 1 lb of actual lead weight per foot. A long 30 ft handline is secured with a commercial grade anodized swivel.

Answer: I’d say good I shredded it on a coral rock I really had to pull on it for quite some time before the net finally gave out I bought a 2nd one if that tells you anything

At first this looked like a quality net.. after 1 trip of shrimping the lead line started separating from net and 2 brail lines came loose... i would return it but no longer have the box...

I have bought this net in both the 8 and 10 foot model. It is about what I would expect for a cheaper net. It certainly is not the same quality as Betts Super Pro. But it is also $50 cheaper than the Betts. The net opens well. It also sinks semi-fast due to the 1lb of lead per foot and 1/2" netting. Within 3 weeks of use the lead line started coming loose from the netting. The twine used to attach the two together is not heavy enough. This is pretty common problem among cheaper nets. I will probably take a couple of hours and attach the leadline with stronger twine to keep any more of the leadline coming loose.

If you are the type fisherman that keeps a throw net for several years you may be better off spending the extra $ for the Betts Super Pro. If you are the fisherman that typically doesn't get more than a year out of a net or you throw around oysters or rocks this net will most likely be just fine for you.
