Answer: Don’t know. Never used it. Tested it and couldn’t get it to spray; just a weak trickle. Threw it away.

Answer: It is meant for Humans, but since Dogs have real sensitive noses, i would imagine it would be somewhat effective. I know someone that has one and she says she uses it for the dogs that comes at her while on her walks.

Answer: Now my understanding of the self defense video's that I've watched, for mace or pepper spray you want to spray it side to side, to make a broader barrier between you and a potential attacker. I personally had a person that was walking ahead of me, without thinking test their canister. To say the least, it was very strong, even though there was about 10-15 feet distance between us and I was pretty upset at the time! I believe these are better than stun guns and carry one myself. I hope this helps?

I haven't had to try it out yet, thankfully, but the wrist velcro does seem sturdy, and I like that you can either attach it via the velcro or the little beaded keychain thingy. I feel better going out along at night having at least something to attempt to protect myself.

Concealed Carry Andrew : Great for Jogging and Running

This pepper spray is a good balance between comfort and effectiveness. It has enough juice for at least 2 assailants. You can see the spray getting used in the video.

The wrist strap is good. It holds a wrist and the stray well. It's not the most comfortable thing, but neither is it uncomfortable. I would feel confident jogging with this for miles. The spray easily comes out of the strap.

The safety is easy to lift. A toddler could lift the safety so keep this spray away from children. It's not child proof.

This spray is part of Mace's "empower" brand of products. Mace donates some of the purchase price of this spray to domestic violence awareness and prevention.
