Vince : Not sturdy.
Product was much to small for any type of Kayak rock fishing. 1st fish I brought up, bent the handle in half. Seems only good for scooping goldfish out of an aquarium. Not recommended.

I ordered the 63" telescoping adjustable. Instead, I got the smallest 39", Non-telescoping, Non-adjustable.
Also, the netting is too shallow, OK for netting pan fish...but why then bother with a net. Though the netting itself seems like a nice pliable rubber-like material.

Todd P Thatcher : Amazingly Sturdy for a Collapsible Net
Hinge for collapsing is tight and locks in well. The twist locks on extension handle lock the handle very well in multiple positions for varying lengths as may be needed for different fishing situations. So you can't go wrong with a longer net even if you find needing to use as a shorter net.
No where in the description was it mentioned that the nylon net is rubber coated. This is a big plus for being able to catch and release trout and not hurt their slime coats and skin.

This net lasted longer then the last one I had but I only got 5 months out of it. Worked well at first, landed fish from 8-35lbs but definitely not built to stand the test of time. Definitely won’t be buying another one until they replace the plastic joint with metal. Not worth spending money on a new net every 5 months. On to the next net I guess...

The net frame folds back on its self so telescoping is kinda misrepresenting it does not extend any further than the handle initially BUT weve pulled in several fish 5 -12 pounds and the net handled them well. Great product highly recomend

Customer : My pole broke...had to order another one.
This is a nice net and doesn't seem to catch on fins or feathers however, the pole can't handle a lot of weight. I've bought 3 now, and love them until they break. Please make the pole stronger!
