what is size 24" reference to?

Answer: I'm not sure because the description and pictures are confusing, but I think it's a small round one.

do 1.5 inch minnows go through the holes?

Answer: Yes. Holes are large.

Answer: I don't know,we've only caught large fish.

Is there a way to keep the net attached to the handle??? Ours arrived today and the net falls right out of the handle....completely unusable.

Answer: Not sure exactly what you mean by net falling off. I had to put a stainless steel bolt through the handle because my push button failed on the handle.

Answer: There should be a ball that clicks in a hole on the other half of the handle to stop it from comming apart. I have not had this problem.

Answer: China I believe.. Keep in mind the whole net is 8" ...thats with the handle so it's very small...

Could i catch sand fleas with this? Or are the holes too big?

Answer: The holes are to big IMO. There are better tools to catch sand fleas anyway. Get a metal sifter.

It's very sturdy and light, the net is solidly made. I was worried it would be easy to dent and bend because it's aluminum, but that is definitely not the case. Extremely light and sturdy, I could use this for years to come. This is a small net size, that's exactly what I wanted, but pointing that out to anyone who's expecting a "standard" sized net opening.

It’s was okay but ripped after 6 fish. Started with a small hole then noticed another bigger hole after the 7th fish. This is good for 9 inch fish any bigger it’ll probably rip the entire net open lol. Overall it serves its purpose just to get the fish out of the water.

My 4 year old son got this for his birthday. He was so excited to take this to his fishing derby. First thing he did while waiting for the derby to start was scoop up a small swimming toad. The net immediately broke. This was a complete waste of money. The butterfly net we grabbed from the dollar store has held up all summer to bigger toads and a bunch of fish.
