Woold buy again says it all.
Amazon Customer : Good for recreational use
We bought these to support a fishing survey in Alabama (Tennessee River). The river is loaded with large gar, catfish, and carp. After the 3-day survey the nets needed to be disposed of due to significant tearing from the larger fish (especially the catfish). Obviously this net is not made for industrial application, but is good for the recreational fisherman who is trying to round up small to medium size catch over a short period of time -- but if the nets soak for > 1h, you run the risk of larger fish getting snared and that could result in a 1'x1' section getting torn upon extraction of the fish. I do however think the price is great and it is easy to fold up. We never had issues with the net getting tangled, so we learned for active fish survey work, a heavier duty net is the ticket, but this net would be great for the recreational fisherman.
Amazon Customer : piece of trash
Not durable, the net ripped down the middle on the first throw. Would not recommend.
Wondrous : Best net for the price
Excellent product! Great net design and a good price. Cant go wrong with this product. Thanks for the great product!
jt : Store in bucket and best in still or slow water.
My 1st one worked very well, caught a bunch of carp and bass that destroyed the net by twisting while one end was secured only with a rock weight and gallon bottle. I cut the bad part off and used the rest 2nd time, but ruined the net because I tried wrapping it around a pool noodle secured with zip ties. the float line kept poking through the eyelets and tangled the whole net beyond repair.
I bought a 2nd one. And this time I wised up:
1) Pull it out neatly and drop into a 5-gallon bucket, keeping the floats on one side and lead the other. Pull out ONLY as far as you need. I barely used 30 ft and the carps came tugging already.
2) Keep the lines TIGHT by securing both ends to either shore or heavy weight / big float secured with strong line on the open end.
3) Retrieve the caught fish ASAP. The longer they are in the net, the more TANGLED they will be and harder to remove.
4) use another net basket to lay the fish in, then PUSH the fish forward through the net to free it. You may have to rip a few eyes but this is UNAVOIDABLE.
5) Retrieved the net NEATLY into the bucket and remove twigs, branches, debris from the net. You may have to break the pieces smaller to avoid ripping/tangling the net.
6) Best for slow or still waters. The river destroyed part of my first net because too much debris got caught in it I'd rather cut that part of 30 ft or so and use the rest rather than repair/remove debris.
Good luck. This net works AWESOME when used properly.
Randy Shoemaker : Near tangle-proof
I’m very happy with the net. It took awhile to get the hang of it. After three uses it was off to the races. It really helps to put it in a five gallon bucket. I just coiled it. I put five half gallon floats along the 100’ line. I added weights to the bottom and it extended the net downwards by at least a foot for a 7’ depth.
holden : crap
Came completely tangled and unusable
calvin keenan wood : Nice net..
It appears that all nets are made very light. But I had no trouble with it. I launched from the beach once and the wind caused it to flip in the surf (I put on large buoys to help it leave the beach. It was a tangled mess. But taking my time, it came apart nicely and I reused it with no problems. Decent net for the money.
Daisy.Z : Five Stars
Good quality. Very firm
Gar Fish’n TX : No instructions
Good quality net does its job. My only complaint is I ordered a 100ft*6ft net I got one much longer and only 3 ft deep
Jblsx : Useless
Came all tangle up
Mary : Piece of junk
I purchased this for my spouse he used it one time and it tore was a waste of money the fish would fall out due to net tearing
Coleman Michaels : Good net for the price
Easily catches fish and fairly easy to set up. Only draw back is , it is a bit difficult to remove the fish from the net but I would buy it again
JLBelle&Willow : Great buy
It was exactly what I was looking for
Ulrike Aguirre : One Star
Don't work
C : Good value
Great heavy, looks good
carmen : Está grande como lo dice
Está grande pero el material no están resistente

Robert Martin : Easier to handle
I ordered the net twice the length needed with plans to cut in half and have two nets. Instead I doubled the net for first use and had never thought of that before but what a difference it made for some reason. This net is a lot easier to handle than the big round cork nets and take up way less room in one container. I'm not cutting this net in half and will order another one just like it and double it too. I figure I can store two hundred feet of this net in a five gallon bucket with room to spare.
holden : crap
Came completely tangled and unusable
Amazon Customer : piece of trash
Not durable, the net ripped down the middle on the first throw. Would not recommend.
Mai Shanly Aguilera Cardenas : Waste of money
Didn’t work the holes in the nest are too big and it kept getting tangled. I ended up throwing it away the first tome using it.
Francisco a : Muy bueno
Excelente inversión
Mohammed : I bought three of them in one week.
I like it. It is better than others in the same price range
Robert Pease : MESS
NEVER got it out of the big tangled mess it came in. JUNK. stuffed into a 10 inch box. wtf. waste of money.
PCV : Night Cat Fishing Net, 3 Layers Gill Net
This is exactly the right size net, and what I have been looking for. Fit nicely across small rivers and inlets. works very well. Can't go wrong with this net. Arrives in a nice compact tube for easy storage. It has floats, and is easy to use.
Iván Rivera Ortiz : no es lo que pedi
Esto es falso
Jblsx : Useless
Came all tangle up
Mary : Piece of junk
I purchased this for my spouse he used it one time and it tore was a waste of money the fish would fall out due to net tearing
