Does this model have the easy open bump at the base of the blade?

Answer: not sure what you're referring to; but I am able to open mine one-handed by using my thumb in the shackle opening. Hope that helps. I'm very happy with the knife.

Answer: This is the Captain Pro - which is the larger of the two sizes. The blade length is 2.7" - the entire knife folded is 4.75". The Crew Knife has a 2.3" blade and measures 3.5" closed. Pleas also note that the "Pro" models are serrated on roughly 2/3 of the blade - the non-pro are not serrated.
