How do you dry thyme, it is tiny and will fall through the the trays? Even oregano will fall through.

Answer: No timer that I am aware of. Seems to be temperature and on/off button.

Answer: No it does not. The knobs are for on/off and setting the deghydrator temperature.

how long should thin banana slices take to dry? My son had them in for at least 2 hours and they did not dry. Wondering if this thing works.....

Answer: I haven't dehydrated bananas, but I would think a simple google search will tell him how long to dehydrate them. Two hours seems to be a very short time.

I was so excited upon receiving this product. The instructions were extremely clear on what to do. Basically prepped the fruits I wanted and place it on the trays overnight and the next morning they looked pretty much dehydrated and they tasted so sweet. It’s really important to prep the fruit or whatever you do before hand or else the taste will be different or so. Will update after several uses.
