How could I get the hose to preserve food in containers

Does this unit have food containers

Answer: No containers just bags that you cut to size

Answer: No. This item is several rolls that you cut to the appropriate size. Seal onne end then vacuum and seal the other side. Toss it into the freezer until needed.

Are these rolls suitable to use for sous-vide cooking?

Can you use in the microwave ..?

Answer: To a certain degree. I don't know about the health and safety issues of microwaving the plastic, although it is BPA free. I put frozen packages in the microwave to defrost, but not to reheat or cook, and I turn the package several times during the process so that hot spots are avoided. Too much heat will melt the plastic and that's definitely something I don't want.

There’s the option to buy individual “(42) gallon sized bags” but no measurements listed. Different sellers offer different sizes. Anyone know?

Answer: The large (gallon) bags are 11" wide, the smaller (quart) bags are 8" wide. These are universal widths designed to be used with any vacuum sealer and, because of that, are available from various manufacturers. I always buy the rolls (either 11" or 8") and make my bags to the length I need as it tends to be cheaper and more versatile than pre-sized bags.

Answer: I don't know exactly but it is freezer worthy

Answer: That is a question you need to ask the sealer manufactor? This sealer does its job and whether the bag will unseal while in hot water is an issue you need to address with vaccum seal manufactor.

The first one I bought, started burning holes when sealing, after only 3-4 uses. I contacted the manufacture and they sent a paid, UPS email. 2 days after dropping off at UPS I received a new sealer w/ 2 rolls of sealing bags, exactly like the original. Have not used it yet. Will review after a few uses.

Es más delgado que el que trae la máquina de foodsaver, pero lo he hecho hasta con temperaturas de 67 grados hasta 72 horas con costillas de res dónde pudiera el hueso romper la bolsa y no habido ningún problema. Por otra parte haciendo una tabla comparativa en excel de diferentes plásticos de venta en Amazon este ha sido el de menor precio al convertir todos los que hay de diferentes tamaños y precios a metro cuadrado por lo que lo recomiendo en primer lugar

We use these all the time. We shop for bulk meat at Costco and when we get home we portion the meat out for meals and then vacuum seal them and throw them in the freeze until we need them.

They work well. The only drawback is there are often wrinkles in the bag that you have to make sure they are flat to get a good seal.
