Can you boil food in these bags?

Answer: Hi，You can heat cooked foods, such as leftovers, in a Boxlegend bag in a simmering pot. Only place bags with frozen food inside the simmering water. The coldness of the food will keep the bag from becoming too hot while the food is heating up. Temperatures above 170 degrees F can possibly compromise the integrity of the bags depending on how the bags were stored, handled, or used after purchase. This is why we recommend the consumers do not use temperatures over 170 degrees F. Hope this helps!

For the first time, I decided to try an alternative to Food Saver. It was a much better value (especially on prime day). These bags don't seem any thinner than Food Saver and work perfectly in my machine.

These bags have what I consider to be a manufacturing defect in that they have creases in one side of the bag which, if you try to seal over the crease, prevent proper vacuum to be applied sufficiently for long term storage.

I needed bags for my Food Saver. I ordered these to try to get more for my buck. The description for these also said I could use them in sous vide. I sealed vegetables for freezing and they did not hold vacuum very well. Within two days all bags were "unvacuumed" and air has reentered all my vegetables. I would not recommend this product and will have to go back to the original Food Saver bags costing more money. Not impressed.

My refrigerator died this summer, and had to live with using an ice chest for one month , until the repair man could fix it.

For one month I had to haul ice , everyday and I needed 70 pounds for 4 ice chests. I needed these bags as I was out of my old ones, I have not purchased any bags in over ten years.

These held up great inside the ice chest, none of mine unsealed during this time. I used these for meat, open jars, leftovers, and soup we couldn’t finish.

I will order these again if I run out. I would recommend these vacuum sealer bags as they held up great for me.
