How do i search dehydrators price low to high? all i get are the parts and sponsors. i just want to see the machines starting at the lowest price.

Are the openings 1mm square as mentioned in the description? Are they silicone or just silicone coated?

Answer: Yes, the slightly rounded squares are about 1mm. I believe it is silicone coated, when I cut it I could tell there is some very fine fibers. and it doesn't stretch as much as you'd expect from just silicone. I think it would be difficult to mold silicone with 1mm squares is probably why there is some kind of base material.

They are easy to cut to fit your dehydrator with a scissors. I have used them with apples, apricots, cherries, oregano, thyme, basil, and tarragon.

They do reduce the air circulation a bit and can produce uneven drying. But, that is expected.

My dehydrator has 10 x 10 stainless trays, and it's hard to find this size. I simply cut these to fit. Wash well with soapy water before first use to avoid undesirable aromas from the dehydrator. Makes removing dried fruit and cleaning the trays much easier. Works well for smaller pieces of fruit, which I later use for baking.

I cut these to fit our dehydrator. Compared to the plastic grid that came with the dehydrator (to be used for smaller or less firm foods), these sheets are WAY easier to clean, less expensive, and take up less space to store. They will stain over time, however.
