Answer: We have not bought new bags yet, but it is my understanding they are universal, not brand specific.

The vac seal feature never finishes vauuming and thereby never seals. attempted several times and ensured the bag is inserted correct. what is wrong?

Answer: Bag size is too big or small. (usually too big) so when this happens i just cut it smaller and re do it. Also make sure you have it set to the right type of food (dry/moist). Lastly, make sure you are not covering the suction port entirely. (mine is inside right hand side)

I have used the food vacuum sealer a number of times. The bags that were sent with the sealer don't work. I used the roll of Nutri-Lock Vacuum Sealer Bags I bought with the sealer and they work great.

Gave it a one star because you have to select one as minimal. The product worked twice, then the vacuum function stopped working on the third try and now the sealing function no longer works. Contacted the manufacturer through Amazon and they stated that since we are passed the 30 day warranty (really, how many times will you use this product within 30 days to gauge it's reliability) so I would have to send it in for repair. I was going to just trash it but I must say that Amazon has stepped in and is willing to help. Of that I am very appreciative. Thanks Liezel Faye!
