I received this reel yesterday and straight out of the box the handle is damaged and bent. The box that it came in is in good condition so this product was messed up before it was packaged for sale. This reel is not smooth and it feels like it needs grease in the bearings. I know the reel does not cost much so i didn't have high hopes for it but I am disappointed with the purchase. You get what you pay for, but i at least thought the handle would have been straight and not bent when i received it in the mail.

For the money, it seems to be a very good reel. I spooled it with 14 lb fluoro and did have a bit of line slipping between the spool and the frame until I adjusted the brakes better to eliminate over-winds. I have it mated to a 7'6" heavy action Lew's Speedstick and the reel was able to handle a nice bass the first time out. I bought two but have not used the other, yet. Mi8ght buy more if they continue to perform well.

It is winter here and I have not had the chance to use either of the two mates I purchased this winter but I can tell you I purchased a Piscifun reel last season and it works and preforms as well as reels I have costing well over $200.00. I use my reels as much in one season as a lot of people do in their lifetime and the only thing I had to do to these reels is oil them.
