What is the best rod for this reel
Answer: There is no "best" rod, it depends on what lure you are using that will determine the rod.
Answer: This really depends on what type of fish you’re going after and the type of tackle you plan to use. There is also a fair amount of personal preference involved.

Is this reel left or right handed?
Answer: The one in the shown in this photo is left handed reeling. You have to choose which model you want, left or right, before you buy this. I have one of these and it's the best reel I've ever owned.
Answer: This model of Lew’s Reel comes in both Left and right handed retrieval. Usually if a reel does not specify left handed then it is safe to assume it is a right hand however, judging from the photos given it appears to be a left hand model.

Answer: I’m not 100% sure on weight but these reels are awesome. I personally have 8 of the Pro-Ti’s can’t go wrong with this reel
Answer: 6.3 oz according to Lews website. Know this is a freshwater reel.
Answer: 6.3 oz and honestly it’s SUPER light. Almost feels cheap but it’s performance speaks differently. Tiny reel big presence.

How do you set dial that indicates line weight and type?
Answer: The instructions show how to set it..line type and lb.
Answer: If you are using braid for instance, set the “B” arrow to whatever lb line you have.
Answer: Spin it so the arrow i dictator is pointing to the weight you are using. The B and M is for braid and monofilament and the F is for fluorocarbon.
Answer: With a dime or small coin while holding the tension knob still.

How much 20 pd braid does this reel hold
Answer: I put about 100 yrds of 20lb braid on mine. Seems for my application to be plenty. Could fit more but I don’t like spools filled to capacity.

Answer: For bait casters, a right handed reel has the retrieve on the right. This reel is a right hand reel- retrieve is on the right.
Answer: This reel is available in left or right hand. Just select the right model when you place your order. Select the model without LH in the model / size. That is the right hand model.

Answer: For flipping I would suggest the hypermag 8.3.1 it is lighter and has a faster gear ratio to catchup to fish that hit and run towards the angler.

This is my second Pro-ti speed spool. I really love the small profile for my small hands, it’s lightweight, and ease to dial in on various lures - quickly.
On my first pro-ti, I’m running 40# braid on a medium heavy action, and on the other, I’m using 30# with a medium heavy fast action. Both, interchangeably have done great the lighter for top water, the heavier for jigging.
Backlashes are minimal, and for a beginner like me, it was great and easy to learn on a nice set up like this.
I really appreciate the quality of this reel it. Helped me catch a lot of fish.

My previous Reel is a Daiwa Feugo and it has been outstanding. Honestly no complaints with that one. But a fool & found money are easily departed, so now I have the Lews.
I spooled it with 15lb braid and set off to my pond. First cast... HUGE BACKLASH! Totally my fault as I hadn't dialed in the spool tension or brake. Couple adjustments later, I am casting lightweight lures almost the entire length of my pond. Amazing!
It is extremely smooth and dead silent on the retrieve.
I honestly didn't think you could make a reel significantly better than the Daiwa Feugo, but I must admit, the extra couple hundred dollars really does buy you a better product in every way.
