What is the liquid?

Answer: Since the strips will never dry out, the liquid is only to lightly coat the baits for added benefit. It is a low odor fish scent and amino acid mixture. Unlike old pork rind that required a jar full of liquid, these strips do not require any liquid.

Answer: doesn't appear to be no liquid the strips are coated with a moist covering the odor is very non existent meaning hardly any smell. what there is is so minor cant identify

Answer: To keep strips fresh and supposed have scent in it

Are these biodegradable?

Answer: These strips are not biodegradable. No different than most soft plastics on the market. The difference is that there are 40x stronger than regular soft plastics.

Answer: I dont know if they are biodegradable. I reused them. Very durable so don't know that they would break down easily.

Answer: Do you mean in a few weeks or a few months sitting at the bottom of a pond, lake, or river. Probably not. But, I do NOT have any supporting evidence of that statement, never recovering a lost bait from some watery haven at some later time. However, after weeks and months sitting in my 3700 series plastic tackle box, on my workbench, or in some other water tight plastic container, these split tail jig strips remain as flexible as the day I pulled them from the jar.

Been "outta pocket" for about 15+ yrs....what happened to the old blue and black pork Trailers...and the green and white frog trailers?

Answer: Uncle Josh? Gone. This is the next generation.

If I order the bottle what color will I get?

Answer: This is for the Sand Eel color.

Is there supposed to be juice in the container - somewhat like gulp?

Answer: No, Jig Strips do not need to be submerged in liquid. Jig Strips will not dry out like Gulp. We do scent the strips with squid scent. There may be excess scent in the jar that you can use to recharge the baits.

Answer: Nope it's dry. Unlike Josh's pork Rhine these are synthetic. Some sort of rubber or plastic. 2,4 even 6 months from now you go to grab them and they look/feel exactly the same... But just don't expect them to keep fish on the hook. They are a good imitation but nothing will ever be as good as uncle josh's

Awesome bait. Use it drop shot fishing. Also use it on end of about 12" line tied to a double barrel swivel and a #1 short shank hook. Just throw it out and let it slowly sink, gently lift rod tip up, then let sink. Keep spool open, when they hit just let them take out line for about 5-6 seconds then set hook.

There is a new ( at least since last time i used this product) lube on the baits; no trouble with them drying out even in 80 degree weather for 8-10 h per day. Gave the balance to our guide in Canada. Had no baits fall off, and they held up well to big pike and lake trout with no lost baits. Highly recommend on johnson silver spoons
