Can I disable the auto-off function?

Answer: It measures in kg. Just multiply X 1000 to get grams. Example 6kg x 1000 = 6000 grams.

Can i use this for trigger pull weight

Answer: Qualified yes. The hook isn’t long enough to clear a pistol grip or stock. This scale is identical to a scale that came with attachments to measure recoil spring weights. Original scale display failed very quickly. Purchased this as replacement. Screen was DOA. Seller credited me for the price and did not ask for a return..

Is it possible to disable the locking function?

Answer: magda...you can disable the locking feature by pressing the tare button (which will let you keep adding more weight, after the first weight is set to zero) or by just turning the scale off and on again (and repeating the weighting process, with weight off and weight on)...! Stagg...!

Answer: You do not need to use the locking function. Zero out with the tare button

We have ordered and used these scales before and we like them. We weigh propane tanks, backpacking gear and garden vegetables for recipes.
These are much handier than a platform scale as with these, you can weigh anything you can tie a cord around and hang. They are accurate and repeatable as any measuring tool should be.
This time we ordered 4 scales, but all was not well:
All 4 had defective hooks. The hooks were improperly bent and looked squiggly and deformed. The hooks served their purpose for weighing, but they did not fit the recess in the back of the case for storage.
At a price of less than $4 each including shipping, I could overlook crooked hooks, but one of the scales was DOA right out of the box. The bad one would power up and display backlit zeroes regardless of weight or units.
Package came by China Post directly from Zhengzhou, Henan in about 12 days.
In summation, we got 3 useable but cosmetically defective scales for the price of 4.
Other sellers list identical looking scales for double the price (~$8) so this seller is selling second quality goods at a discount, or simply doesn't know about the deformed hooks.
No one is going to return a $4 item to China. We do like the ones that work, even with deformed hooks.
