Can I disable the auto-off function?

Answer: It measures in kg. Just multiply X 1000 to get grams. Example 6kg x 1000 = 6000 grams.

Can i use this for trigger pull weight

Answer: Qualified yes. The hook isn’t long enough to clear a pistol grip or stock. This scale is identical to a scale that came with attachments to measure recoil spring weights. Original scale display failed very quickly. Purchased this as replacement. Screen was DOA. Seller credited me for the price and did not ask for a return..

Is it possible to disable the locking function?

Answer: magda...you can disable the locking feature by pressing the tare button (which will let you keep adding more weight, after the first weight is set to zero) or by just turning the scale off and on again (and repeating the weighting process, with weight off and weight on)...! Stagg...!

Answer: You do not need to use the locking function. Zero out with the tare button

$%# UPDATE #%$ DO NOT USE BATTERIES INCLUDED! I left the 2 AAA batteries in it and noticed 2 or 3 days later, I didnt work. Took cover plate off and inside was WET! The damn battery exploded inside and leaked everywhere. Luckily I was able to salvage scale!

The numbers seem pretty consistent with my other scales.

Tare is only additive: if you want to tare a bag and then add things to the bag, that works iff you never remove the bag. As soon as you remove the bag to add things to it and then put it back on the scale, the scale just sits there showing the tare weight of the bag until you reset it. Yes, no matter how quick you are.

Also, the LCD is difficult to read if the scale is not at eye level. I have it hanging about a foot above my head (so I can weigh tall things, and also not bump my head on it), which doesn't work very well.

It works and as far as i know the scale is accurate but it just looks and feels cheap made the price isn't too high so i guess thays expected but my boyfriend is happy with it

I have not checked the accuracy, but the measurements were repeatable to the .01 lb resolution given.

this hanging scale is small, lightweight, and easy to use.

Just slip a wrist through the strap and press the power button with the thumb (or do it beforehand), and lift some object by the attached hook (not sharp).

As long as you have a place to attach the hook, it's quick and easy to weigh anything you can hold or place in a bag with straps that the hook can grab.

The numbers are reasonably large LCD, so they are easy to read when facing you in with ambient light.
