Is the V shaped cradle for the bottle adjustable up or down to center different size bottles?

Answer: No, this is fixed in place. If you need a bigger opening, I think you are out of luck, but for a smaller bottle, just insert something on the slide to center the bottle.

I can’t adjust the Temperature past 100 which isn’t hot enough to shrink standard wine pvc capsules. Any ideas?

once a fellow owner gave us instructions on how to use the buttons (came with no help) this worked really well, so much better than the boiling method. Being able to adjust the heat (once we found out how) is really nice. Well made, solid.

This capsule heat shrink device is very nice for small operations and smaller production volumes. This unit is particularly nice, as it has an adjustable heat controller. There are two issues with the unit to be aware of however. If your capsules have contrasting colors between the film and the print on the vertical side of the capsule, this type of heat can produce small wrinkles due to the different rates at which contrasting colors and or the ink on the film shrink. For non printed capsules, this is less of or a non-issue. Additionally, due to the construction of the unit, it limits the bottle neck length which can effectively be utilized, due to the stainless steel “stop” portion beyond the heating coil... essentially longer necked bottles cannot enter the unit deep enough to expose the heat coils to the entire surface area of the capsules and thereby render the unit in need of modification to accommodate longer necked wine or spirits bottles. The same can be said for very short necked bottles, whereby the same could occur, but opposite; meaning the full capsule may not enter the heat coil deep enough to be exposed to the heat, so I gave it 4-Stars based on these design and functional issues. It is a well built machine however and if it fits your bottle and you have plain / non-printed capsules, it should offer brilliant functionality for many years.

This machine is worthless, don't buy it. There are no instructions sold with it - you literally have to devine how to set the temperature. The controller is confusing - I tried for about 30 minutes and gave up. I couldn't get it to heat above 100 degrees. This is an absolutely terrible product, I am shipping mine back.

Machine heats up well, solid build except for the buttons. The buttons were loose not tight on box itself. Basically as you turn the on button it would move and it has a digital display to increase temperature and that also moved.
