Delivering incredible casting performance for a wide range of bass fishing applications, the Tatula CT features Daiwa’s cutting-edge TWS T-Wing System, which solves one of the age-old problems with baitcasting reel levelwind systems. It reduces the normally steep angles and friction that slow line flowing through a narrow line guide on casts. The wide top section of the T-wing allows line to freely during casting, and when the reel is engaged on the retrieve the line is funneled into the narrow lower channel of the T-wing for even distribution across the spool width.

why does the eye have a big opening?

Answer: It decreases the friction on the line when your casting. It allows for longer casts and lest stress on the line coming out if the eye

Answer: The line guide is only wide when casting. It puts less angle on the line coming off of the spool causing less friction, resulting in farther casts. The line guide pops down and really narrows up when the spool isn’t free spinning.
