Originally got these to clip on a ribbon and hang from our back door for the dogs to ring to go out and they do work great! But our lasted rescue, a lab mix, is a hunter so I also love these to clip on his collar before he goes out. Now all the little squirrels and birds are safe! :-) Love these bells!

I tried to use these for Belle's on my foster dog's collars, did not work, they just simply don't hold up.

AndyRx : Every aspect is disappointing!

They fell apart after only a couple uses. I have some other brass fishing bells that have lasted years and actually ring, but these are 100% worthless. Some kind of painted metal for the bell that makes a dull tink sound instead of ring. One bell fell off the clip first use, and the clip just fell apart on other. CHINA stamped real big on the top of the bell is pretty accurate for the piece of junk you are getting.

Worst quality. I've catfished the James River for 30 years, These fall off the clip from the slightest movement, if you move them at all they break off the spring clip. Get the eagle claw ones from walmart or of you find better ones let me know

They are much too quiet and too small. I thought we were getting a larger, louder bell. Not much help for a fisherman with selective hearing.
