Baits looked nice when I pulled them from the package. Tied one on one of my fishing poles and went out to the farm pond. First cast the bait seemed to pull to the right when reeling in, and tended to do that to some degree all casts. Third cast caught a small bass, then next cast caught a big bass that broke my line after a couple minutes fight. Tied a second bait on and caught another 6 pound bass on second cast. This bait also pulled and tracked to the right. I caught 5 more smaller bass within a half hour. These seem to mimic bluegill quite well. Happy with it even not tracking straight.

I don't understand the bad/mediocre reviews of this lure. We caught a huge Peacock bass on the 2nd cast. Someone also said it doesn't cast well. This person is probably using anchor chain as fishing line or something. We use 16 lb test, and this thing flies out a good 100 feet or more. Can't say exactly how far, but it disappears into the distance. It wiggles like a real fish would swim, which really attracts the big predators. We caught a snag after an hour or so. We waded out in waist-deep murky water and rescued it. That's saying a lot here in Florida, where gators are as common as houseflies!

Very much enjoy using Rose Kuli. With the recent Covid-19 restrictions in Arizona, I am spending more time at the lake. I shared my first purchase with my brother, who is also a Rose Kuli fan, so I had to buy more! We are getting great strikes...my brother prefers the river, while I prefer lakes and Pacific coast. Must have these in your arsenal!

Caught a couple little northerns with this lure. Hooks are incredibly sharp and difficult to remove from the fish but aren’t they all? Seemed to hold up ok. Great swimming action too. Not sure it’s worth the price, but it was fun to try.

Good bang for your buck! I bought this basically because the price of it was so cheap. It’s a little strange that it’s shaped like a blue hill but colored like a rainbow trout lol. It works though! Two northern pike on 5 cast. The treble hooks are kind of cheap and bent on me so I replaced them with mustads and went with size 4. Overall I think this is a solid lure that you can have fun with and catch fish on.

Two northern pike on 5 cast. The treble hooks are kind of cheap and bent on me so I replaced them with mustads and went with size 4. Overall I think this is a solid lure that you can have fun with and catch fish on.
