If your looking for a big bass this is your baby! I've used this exact size and color bait for 5 decades and it's the corner stone of my tackle box. Fish this early in the morning or late in the day near dark and you will catch fish. Landed a nice bass on the first cast out the box. Best in low light or overcast day's. They make a lot of baits and there's a reason this things still around.

I bought the smallest size. They are too light and difficult to cast. I also find it hard to get good action on these or good pop. I’ve yet to catch a fish one one but have caught fish on different larger poppers. Avoid the smallest size.

Arbogast make great products. Purchased the largest available to catch larger bass. The bass love the Fire Tiger colors. Will probably purchase the next size smaller on my next purchase. The larger one is more difficult to cast on my light weight pole. Not a ding on the product. I like to use light to medium action equipment.

Lure looks great but it just doesn't get the job done. Tons of bass in the ponds around my house in FL and none of them will go for this lure. Seems to be hit or miss with all customers. Not a bad lure but just not working for me.

Amazing lure. It is a classic for a reason. Catches big and small bass like crazy. If you are just getting into fishing buy a few, super easy to use, even little kids can catch plenty of bass on these.
Four stars because the skirts fall off fairly easily. I would recommend super gluing them on before using them. I have not noticed a decline in bites and it will save your lures. (Protip, doing this to the top of your hooks with senkos will keep the worm from sliding up your line, and make them last much longer!)
I caught this guy on my first cast with this hula popper. The skirt fell off while fighting it, but thankfully I was able to retrieve it as I was in a kayak.
