can I use these for bass, and trout? And do I need to add some weights to them?

Answer: Yes, amazing results! got mine at Walmart and have caught countless sunfish and bullheads off of them, great fun for that fishing but I believe they would destroy bass and trout, haven't tried them yet though.

Answer: These would not be good for trolling, they are too small and will go side ways when trolling.

Answer: Catfish are bottom feeders and these lures float, so unless you put a sinker on it it wouldn't go to the bottom where they are located. For catfish, I use a hook and those yellow catfish baits.

Answer: No not too water, it dives a bit depending upon the speed of the retrieve, I use for all freshwater and even surf perch in saltwater and for the price you can't beat them. Personal favorite with these lures: panfish.

Put them on a light spinning rod with about 6 lb line and have some fun catching small to medium-sized crappie. Haven't caught any big ones using these tiny lures but have had very good luck catching lots of crappie at one time.

With 10 in the pack and the price considered, I would recommend picking up a small rapala or rebel as those will have slightly better action.
These sink and when you retrieve, they float upwards. I've had small sunfish bite the body and completely miss the hook. I would rather have two small trebles as opposed to one larger one.

I threw one on at the end of the day. Cast it out and let it drag as i walked out. Caught every type of fish in the pond in about 15 minutes.

Better than expected quality. I was a little concerned about the casting weight but they cast more than well enough on 2lb and 4lb lines. The action was better than expected. I thought this was a floating lure and it was limited to surface actions only. It turn out to be a slow sinking lure which will sink about 1 foot every 2 seconds (if there is little or no current). This is a real plus and it made the lure much more versatile. Since the lure was so inexpensive, I wasn't concerned about snagging the bottom at all. I dragged them over rocky bottoms, sunken logs, and vegetation. I even cast them into high snag areas where I'd normally avoid. Surprisingly, these lures are VERY snag proof. So far, I still have all of the lures shipped. LOL Also, the paint finish was decent enough and held up well. The hook used wasn't as good as name brand products (of course) but at least they will work as-is. Zero complaints especially as this price range.

The Dude : They catch fish every time I use them

I always catch fish when I use these tiny crankbaits. They can be a bit tough to cast though because they're so light.

Using a 7ft ultralight rod with 8lb braid, I can get 20-30 feet on a cast. Regardless of casting distance, I was still pulling in crappie, bluegill, other sunfish, and bass about every 3-5 casts. I've noticed that fish tend to wise up to these lures pretty quick, so it helps to move around. They tend to swim about 1-2ft below the surface.

One thing to note is that the longer you use them, the more likely they are to fill up with water and swim a little deeper. I really don't mind that though, because the extra water weight makes them easier to cast.

For the money, they're a great value. Plus it doesn't hurt as much when you lose one to a snag.

These are a STEAL!! I'm thoroughly impressed at how well these tiny lures catch fish. For 80 cents apiece I don't know if you can find a better buy. So far I've caught dozens of fish - bass up to 2lbs and many sunfish in just 3 trips. Yes, the hooks are tiny and probably not very strong but they are quite sharp and these lures don't cast very far but fish seem to love them.

These tiny crank baits have a lot of wiggle and great action. They sink very slowly and stay a few inches below the surface at a steady retrieve. I’ve caught bass, bream, and shell cracker using my ultralight gear. Highly recommend due to decent quality and great price.

Tossed some of these around for the morning and would recommend them to anyone! They have great action, a nice rattle to it, trebles are great, all around a great lure. I don’t get the biggest fish nor do i live in a great place to fish, so these smaller lures are perfect!

The price of these for what you get is amazing. The hooks don't seem bad, haven't bent at all and hooks the crap outta bluegills even when being picky. Alas the baits not magical, you have to figure out wheres good to cast it, work it a certain depth, ect. You have to catch the fish lol. That being said grab these baits, so far got bites on 4 colors. All quickly retrieved getting reaction strikes.

not a bad value for the amount of lures, hooks are a bit flashy and in tannic water I haven't had as good luck as with small rebel lures but some folks swear by these. I think they're worth a shot at such a low price, just be cautious as reeling in at anything other than a slow retrieve will cause them to corkscrew in the water.

These are good for the price. I have a couple out of the first pack I ordered that didn't work, they would come to the surface and spin no matter how fast or slow they were retrieved. The hooks aren't of great quality but get the job done. At the end of the day these lures caught fish. I caught 3 species on my first trip with them. Including small and very large Northern Pike. Even with these lures flaws it's well worth it in the end and I will definitely be ordering more.

You get your money worth buying these in a bulk and they move great in the water. Enough weight to cast them out and catch white bass pretty well with it having three hooks on it. Small enough to catch a mouth easily and there is less risk of them jumping off.

These are nifty little divers. I tweaked mine -- removed the trebles and added a size 4 Siwash on a micro-swivel to the rear fitting and super-glued the eyelet and hook-screw -- and use them river fishing for salmon and steelhead. Wouldn't trust them for a trophy-size steelie but they hold up to 5-pounders.
