Answer: High chance with trebble hooks, these lures have a fast action so good for pikes, and the eager bass. Not good for slow calm days in my opinion. It just depends where you want to fish. Don't recommend during high weed seasons or areas with shallow water with lots of plants or rocks as it will snag. I recommend a high quality name brand product with a smoother motion as this lure requires a decent high speed gear ratio reel.
Answer: Amazingly enough, no. I have fished it in some heavier cover and been alright. The hooks, like all hooks will pick up weeds from time to time

Answer: bass, musky, pike, walleye, catfish, sunfish, trout - any predator that's hungry enough and large enough

Answer: It is a sinking lure. Like most sinking lures you can control the depth by your return speed. I adjust according to the bass’ willingness to strike. I can say that it is one of the best lures I’ve ever used

I really like the looks of this lure, and it does exactly as described in the description. With that being said, the lure is larger then expected. This results in the retrieval speed needing to be very fast to get the action needed from the lure. It did produce its first time out, and I hope to do more with it soon.

I finally was able to go to the river and try out this swimbait. I was working a carolina rig then changed it to this bait since the bass seemed to be higher the water column. It was the first time using a hard swimbait and landed 11 largemouth bass. I was very impressed with the action of this bait.

I used this lure yesterday and lost two nice fish because the hooks bent or broke. We did catch lots of fish with this lure so that is a big plus and I would have gladly gave it 5 stars if not for the cheep hooks. We use 10lb test and very light drags when we troll for stripped bass and play them with long limber poles and light drags so we can enjoy the fight and not rip the hooks out of their mouths. We don't horse our fish in so no heavy stress on the hooks but still they failed. This happened with two of these lures. So buy these lures because they are great for attracting fish but change the hooks to a quality hook before using so you don't loose the big ones like i did!
