Best color for trout? An where do u hook them in the bal or tail?

Answer: Extra scent gold. Use a carolina rig and a tiny (size 12) offset hook with a 1-2ft flouro leader (if you are using braid as mainline)

Answer: Hook them in the ball with a small split shot about 6 inches above the hook. I used the orange/charteruse in muddy water. I catch alot on pink worms as well, im sure white with a pink tail would work

Answer: I think I’ve use all the colors but they keeping adding so who knows for sure. However pink and white are my Aces for trout, yellow and orange for pan fish, and the glow white for dusk/night fishing will get u catfish.

Answer: I use a 3 inch chigger craw and hook it at the tail. Provides good action that way

Answer: smelt color. rig it up to a trout magnet jighook and this bait is the best ive ever used for brown trout especially.

is it a rubbery material? is it reusable?

Answer: Yes...But use a Light weight single hook

How do I use these with a treble hook and a normal weight?

Answer: Hook two prongs of the treble hook behind the head of the bait with the prongs facing forward. The treble hook should be tied behind a 18 to 30" leader so the bait floats off the bottom. I use a bubble filled with water above the leader so I can twitch/retrieve it along the bottom. Trout love it.

Answer: You need to use a small hook that will allow this product to float , put a pink on slip sinker 12 -14 inches above your hook so it floats and becomes presentable to the fish. Treble hooks are more for dough power bait

Answer: The treble hook , you can put the head of it on the hook or use two if using 4 hook treble. Don't know about the weight .

How do you use them, floating or bottom?

Answer: In moving water, fly fishing I put a micro split shot on to get it down. Can also be fished on top when trout are rising.

Answer: Both ways, I did get some hit from smaller fish nothing to brag about. I’m sure that if I slowed my presentation I would get more strikes.

How do you rig these?

Answer: Use a light wire single hook, like a Owner Mosquito in size 8 and thread it through the egg from the center and make the hook point come out the top.

Answer: I use a smaller size hook and put it through the top of the ball so it comes out in the middle of it so the tail moves in the water freely when u reel it in and have caught lots of fish that way

Answer: Small hook through the egg works good!

Can they be used for salt water fishing?

Answer: They’re not supposed to be used for saltwater fishing. They’re meant for trout in freshwater ponds, streams, etc. Now, yes you could use it for saltwater fishing but they would be destroyed by the fish. Don’t recommend for saltwater but VERY good for freshwater. Also, it’s only about 2-3 inches in length.

Answer: I don't see why not. Should float with no issues.

Do these float better than the worms? I noticed the worms dont float with a hook in them.

Answer: Yes, these do float better the the worms. Angler's we're combining the power egg and power worm to add flotation, so Berkeley decided to listen to its customers and put it all in one piece for extra flotation.

Is Carolina rig the preferred way to use thi product?

Answer: I used these with an egg hook tied directly to the line and a 1/8oz split shot about 18 inches up the line & caught a lot of trout in the coves at Pardee reservoir. Carolina rig should be fine.

Good for walleyes? Bass?

Answer: i use it for trout for bass i haven't try?

Answer: Bass , crappie, white and yellow perch, bream. The lakes that I fish doesn't have walleyes.

Standing Bear lake (Omaha Nebraska) was recently stocked with 7000 trout. I was the only one catching them using the Floating Mice Tails and I put a dab of Powerbait glitter on as well. However, the mice tails were doing it on it their own. Got my limit in less than an hour.
