Unicorn Dawg is a 100% soft plastic lure that feels real to predator fish, which results in longer hookset opportunities.

It is balanced with a jig head so it swims down at a 45 degree angle on the fall and swims horizontal on the retrieve.

The Unicorn Dawg can be cranked, jerked, or jigged. When retrieved, it rocks back and forth as the curly tail waves frantically, a combination that drives large gamefish crazy.

Answer: The l;ure works excellent for Largemouth Bass. it is so effective you catch big Bass because you can reel it in fast and it will surface or reel it in slow and it will go deeper. You can troll the depth on this lure totally awesome.

This thing has good action but my goodness is it heavy, I worry about breaking my rod tips or straining the reel. Maybe my gear isn't matched up properly but you really need some heavy duty stuff to through this lure. For the most part it sits in my tackle box and never gets used.

If you are more familiar with bulldawgs, this is about the size of a spring dawg which for me is perfect. The quality is very similar to the spring dawg and it feels like it will last most smaller fish but predictably will be torn up by a trophy. Nice bait for a good price.

I received these in the mail today expecting a large bodied 8" lure. They were "as advertised". Pull the tail out as far as you can go and it's just about 8". Plastic is also extremely soft and will not hold up well to many strikes.

I guess there is a reason this lure is cheap.

Great product, delivered as advertised. Some of the reviews bashed the weight as being too heavy? Really? You are catching musky/pike not bluegill. Get a real pole and use a heavy weight leader. The first 3 hours of using this lure produced 2 40+ inch musky. I was using the red tail 8 inch lure in lower light conditions. Couldn't be more pleased!

Very disappointed, the tail is already looking like its going to break off on first cast, very poor mold it was poured from, 8inches is the overall length not the length of the body. Ive purchased many musky lures and the length is usually the body without the tail. This is not a musky lure it might be a bass lure or a small pike. Very disappointed
