Works well to cut bait I use for salt water fishing. It's important to rinse it with water and dry it or rust builds up overnight.

Random Mama : Does NOT NOT NOT FLOAT

Would leave ZERO stars if I could. This does NOT NOT NOT float. It sinks STRAIGHT to the bottom. Tried a bucket, pool, sink, etc. Goes down tip first then bubbles come from between the red part and the handle and it fills will water. (You can remove the red tip we learned AFTER we tried to float it and it filled full of water) but even sealed tight it STILL SINKS .. WASTE OF MONEY!!

The handle may float, but when attached to the blade (as it always is) the whole knife sinks pretty quick...even in salt water! Floating filet knives are a great idea, and we need a new one...but won't be buying this again.
