The reel is composed of a rugged, lightweight graphite body and rotor with a double anodized aluminum spool accented with black and blue. It’s a blazing 6.2:1 gear ratio with a fold-down anodized aluminum handle with SoftTouch knob that can be used for right- or left-hand retrieve.

Does this reel have a reversible handle?

Answer: Yes

How do switch retrieve hands in this reel?

Answer: Plastic screw other side of handle , turn counter clock wise all the way out . Slide handle on other side . Install plastic screw clock wise . Yes handle can go on either side

Answer: Unscrew the flat bolt on the opposite side of the reeal from the handle, pull the handle out and slip the handle into the opposite side where the flat thread bolt came out. Then thread the flat bolt into the open hole where the handle came out of its original spot.

is this reel suitable for saltwater?

Answer: Not an ideal choice, but could do the job. Always wash reels off with fresh water at the end of the day to keep them in better shape.

Ok. Heavy. I bought a Penn Fierce 2 for 25$ more and you can really feel the difference. Penn much smoother cast and retrieve. Wouldn't buy this again.
