How much does the rod weigh?

Answer: I weighed the rod on our food scale. 2.45 oz !!!! Insanely light. The Little bag weight more. The sections are about 18"

Answer: Can't tell you the weight exactly bu it's very light and if you fold the end of the case it fits in a normal roll aboard.

Answer: I can tell you that it did so in my regulation size suit case. Would not fit in a carry on bag. Total length of bag is 25”.

Major POS - tip section broke the second time my wife cast it, using only a small plastic float -what good is that to catch fish with?
I mean, isn't that the point?
Daiwa used to make decent producs, but this is beyond poor quality.

My daiwa presso rod 5'6" 4pc came extremely fast, no damage to the rods while shipped and really good quality! I have had it for about 3 months and hasn't missed a beat, it has taken a beating and hasn't broken yet!
Really impressed!

Just arrived, quick deliver. Cautious however of the chip where the tip section of the rod joins. Hopefully not structurally damaging. Time will tell :/ 3 stars until tested on the water

Ashton : The guides are bent

I'm starting to question Daiwa quality control since a majority of my rods and reels are by Daiwa. 1st time I bought this it was amazing since it felt light, cast very accurately, and sensitive. This rod only lasted me for 5 months but I do fish 4 times a week and take great care of taking care of my fishing rods and reels. I end up sending mine to Daiwa warranty center since mine snap when I set the hook, it only snapped at the blank/butt of the rod where the attach the piece of the rod. The 3 piece was still good. It took 2 months and they sent me a new rod, I tried out the new rod but for some odd reason, it didn't cast precisely. Turns out the guides where bent and I didn't want to wait another few months nor wanted to keep paying for shipping fees again.

I end up sending it back again. I don't know when I will get my rod back so I end up buying a new rod hoping this one would be a perfect quality. I am highly disappointed the 4 of the guides are bent slightly and one of them that you can tell by eye. I need a straight guide so I can cast properly. Here is one image of one of the guides that are bent.

I liked the rod when I first tried it out on my pond. Loved the feel of it. Took it to Montana and the tip broke on the 1st day using it while fighting a fish. Only used it 2 times total. Then when I tried to pack it back up the zipper popped open which would be no big deal but the zipper piece itself broke so I couldn't close it.
