How much does the rod weigh?

Answer: I weighed the rod on our food scale. 2.45 oz !!!! Insanely light. The Little bag weight more. The sections are about 18"

Answer: Can't tell you the weight exactly bu it's very light and if you fold the end of the case it fits in a normal roll aboard.

Answer: I can tell you that it did so in my regulation size suit case. Would not fit in a carry on bag. Total length of bag is 25”.

light and short for areas which longer rods are more difficult to use. great rod for the price.

Man, I fell immediately in love with this rod. It cSt like dream with 1/16 oz lures. The sensitivity was just amazing. I could feel the blade on the spinner spinning. It was beautiful.
However, the first time I really took it fishing, today, the tip snapped off like a dry twig in my hand. I couldn’t believe it. I moved my hand down and snapped another piece off. I swear it took no effort and snapped off like a dry twig of that size.
Needless to say I am very disappointed.
Damn! I thought I had a very nice rod.

Tolgster : Excellent for portaging/backpacking

I used this on my backpacking trip. Fits nicely to the size of my pack. Caught 3 nice sized trouts on this baby.

Pretty good pac rod... Very fast action "stiff" it's okay if like fast action rods I only use 2lb test and only use little 1/32-1/64oz custom made jigs ....and it casts them great. Have cought some 2-3 lb shad and some small rainbow trout and seem to be a solid rod.

Great rod for small panfish, packs up light, and has a great action that makes catching even small fish a blast. Goes great with a Pflueger president 20 for a nice light travel setup

I also have the 7' version. I bought the 5.6 as shorter length rods are easier to cast on a non-fishing pontoon. Fits easily in one of the seat storage compartments.

Major POS - tip section broke the second time my wife cast it, using only a small plastic float -what good is that to catch fish with?
I mean, isn't that the point?
Daiwa used to make decent producs, but this is beyond poor quality.

I liked the rod when I first tried it out on my pond. Loved the feel of it. Took it to Montana and the tip broke on the 1st day using it while fighting a fish. Only used it 2 times total. Then when I tried to pack it back up the zipper popped open which would be no big deal but the zipper piece itself broke so I couldn't close it.
