Answer: The one I purchased DID NOT have a cutter, and then the seller vanished. I got a refund and didn't have to return the unit. But the unit's manufacturing label had been torn off, which is illegal. So no info on who made it if anything ever goes wrong.

It's an industrial tool. Chinese grade version but still industrial grade. I have used this sealer for five years to seal and package thousands of items for my small business. I have gone through maybe three heating elements over that time but this machine continues chugging along. This is an awesome device and has so many uses around the house for re-sealing bags. I honestly wish I had bought one sooner!

Well worth the money. Easy to set up and use. In addition to sealing PE and PP bags, it does a great job on cellophane. As usual with a product from China, the instruction manual is fun to read. The product however, gets 5 stars from me.
