Answer: You don't clean it, you eat it.

Answer: Yes. I put them in at the lowest temperature. 95 degrees for 5 mins. They come out dry enough to put on another layer of icing but not hard enough to write or draw on. Works great so far.

Answer: This item is a cheap brand x Chinese piece of CRAP. Mine broke after 3 months of light usage. I've since bought a very similar Hamilton Beach model. With 6 trays, about 3 lbs. of meat can be dried yielding about 1 lb. of jerky. Given 3/16" thick slices, about 4 hours should do the trick. It's like a slow bar-b-que; don't leave it unattended; taste test for your preferred amount of dryness. I prefer moister than most commercial jerky; it is easy to cut into bite-size pieces with scissors. Good luck!

I like this dehydrator very much because it is very simple to use. There are only two buttons, one is on/off and the other one is to control temperature. I didn't read the manual and was able to use it without any problems. Another thing I like is that this one does not take a lot of counter space even though it has 7 trays. It fits under the cabinet perfectly. I tried apple, coconut and banana in my last two batches and they came out great. My kids love it and keep asking for more. Will try some veggie next time.

Worked great at first, made beef jerkey and handful of times and it was quick and easy. Used it for about a month and the heating element went out. Contacted customer service, they wanted pictures and video. I sent them and they keep asking for more, showing the temperature while the thing is running. I did that. Still want more. I told them it’s clearly the heating element, so they sent me a new heating element and expected me to repair it. It required wires being undone which I was not comfortable with. Then I saw the pieces didn’t even look the same. I told them this, they wanted more pics, which I sent. At this point I ask for a replacement but to no avail so far. We will see. They’ll probably need more pictures....

This portable clothes dryer saves a lot of money when dealing with delicate clothing, instead of going to the dry cleaners I can just use this! I usually handwash my babies clothes and my lingerie then hang it outside to dry. But when it’s winter, it’s too cold to do that, so this works great. It’s also easy to assemble, it only took less then fifteen minutes. This product is also very convenient when you have to move it around, and it saves space.

I love this specific model of dehydrator because I don’t have to reset it every 24-48 hours. It has a physical on off button and it doesn’t turn off unless the power is disconnected or you press the button. I know prettymuch every other model has the shutoff timer for fire safety but I’m very forgetful and would ruin my projects by forgetting to turn it back on.
I have just bought my third one, but I mostly just need trays instead of extra dehydrator bases because what I’m making requires a certain amount of air drying and then a certain amount of time in the dehydrator so it would be awesome to have more trays to swap out because they stack so nicely together. My first dehydrator is superrrrrr quiet, you can hardly hear it, but the second one is a lot louder and I work a job that requires me to be on calls all day so I have to turn the second one off while I’m working. They’re both from the same seller so I’m not sure why the noise is so different. The third one should arrive on Saturday so we’ll see how that goes. But yeah mostly I just wish I could get extra trays but this thing is awesome. I don’t honestly think it would be a good idea for meat though, but that’s just my opinion.
