Answer: You don't clean it, you eat it.

Answer: Yes. I put them in at the lowest temperature. 95 degrees for 5 mins. They come out dry enough to put on another layer of icing but not hard enough to write or draw on. Works great so far.

Answer: This item is a cheap brand x Chinese piece of CRAP. Mine broke after 3 months of light usage. I've since bought a very similar Hamilton Beach model. With 6 trays, about 3 lbs. of meat can be dried yielding about 1 lb. of jerky. Given 3/16" thick slices, about 4 hours should do the trick. It's like a slow bar-b-que; don't leave it unattended; taste test for your preferred amount of dryness. I prefer moister than most commercial jerky; it is easy to cut into bite-size pieces with scissors. Good luck!

Really like this food dehydrator. I like banana chips every time when we went to foodliner I have to get two or three bags that. So first time I have to make banana chip. I don’t have have enough banana and my son said let’s try apple. They took 5 hours to dry. My son was right apple taste great. Just cut too thin stick in the tray. Second time I cut little bit thick. Was perfect and yummy. This food dehydrator is easy to clean and use. Recommend.

This portable clothes dryer saves a lot of money when dealing with delicate clothing, instead of going to the dry cleaners I can just use this! I usually handwash my babies clothes and my lingerie then hang it outside to dry. But when it’s winter, it’s too cold to do that, so this works great. It’s also easy to assemble, it only took less then fifteen minutes. This product is also very convenient when you have to move it around, and it saves space.

Before I buy the dehydrator, I did not know how easy it is to make dry fruit chips. I used to buy them from stores, and it was quite expensive.
I also have a dog who loves meat jerky treats, but because of the recalls from a few years ago, so I choose the brand very carefully.
You can make almost every fruit and meat into jerky, at least you know the real ingredient of it. Slice like 0.5cm if you want them to be crispy. The process takes about 10-15 hours depends, but the result is well worth it.

I love this specific model of dehydrator because I don’t have to reset it every 24-48 hours. It has a physical on off button and it doesn’t turn off unless the power is disconnected or you press the button. I know prettymuch every other model has the shutoff timer for fire safety but I’m very forgetful and would ruin my projects by forgetting to turn it back on.
I have just bought my third one, but I mostly just need trays instead of extra dehydrator bases because what I’m making requires a certain amount of air drying and then a certain amount of time in the dehydrator so it would be awesome to have more trays to swap out because they stack so nicely together. My first dehydrator is superrrrrr quiet, you can hardly hear it, but the second one is a lot louder and I work a job that requires me to be on calls all day so I have to turn the second one off while I’m working. They’re both from the same seller so I’m not sure why the noise is so different. The third one should arrive on Saturday so we’ll see how that goes. But yeah mostly I just wish I could get extra trays but this thing is awesome. I don’t honestly think it would be a good idea for meat though, but that’s just my opinion. I don’t think it gets hot enough. But I don’t use mine for food I use it for drying art supplies, I have dehydrated food in the past though so I somewhat know what to look for.

We came across this on Social Media. We love to eat and make jerky. This Dehydrator work's awesome and so easy to clean! My husband thought he was going to have to soak the trays like he had to with his previous one. NOPE! They simple fit in the dishwasher and washed perfectly and also I ran them under hot water and they came clean instantly! Cleaned everything in less than 10 minutes!
