Is this electric?

Answer: Yes, the grill is electric powered. Please turn on the power, turn on the grill, then the heating rod will heat up to the fuel value and ignite the wood pellet. The wood pellets are roasted and burned to cook food, so the food is authentic wood flavor, not by electric roasting.

Does it have a cabinet?

Answer: yes,It has an Under-grill open storage cabinet.

I like to smoke pork shoulders at 225 degrees overnight and I am wondering how long a full hopper of pellets in this grill will last?

Answer: A full hopper at that temp should last 8 to 10 hrs.

What is the lowest temp you can smoke at?

Answer: When I turn my ZGrill to smoke it averages from 190-220 degrees.

Does this come with a drip bucket?

Answer: Yes it does. The porcelain grates are non-stick for easy clean-up, a galvanized bucket catches all the drippings and saves your patio from grease stains.

Answer: As of my purchase Jan 2021, it does not come with a cover.

Answer: The steel is SPCC cold rolled iron sheet.

How long to get temperature to 500 degrees Fahrenheit when turning it on (trying to weigh pros and cons vs a gas grill where it’s ready in a few min)?

Answer: Maybe 10 min depending on the temp outside. But even on max I have only seen it go to on mine.

Dennis Mcgrath : Great dual-purpose smoker

We had a charcoal grill, a propane grill, and an electric smoker.
We were able to replace those three with this one unit. Works great and the flavor is awesome.
Only thing I wish it had was a hopper release to remove the unused pellets from the hopper after use.
I got a cheap $25 small shop vac to remove the pellets and it works pretty good.

It’s easier to assemble than I thought. Color and finish look very good. I recommend to try the smoke function if you like smoked meat. I can’t really tell if the different pellet flavors make the meat tasted different. What I used the cherrywood and oak but they taste same. Overall, I recommend this Zgrills if you are a beginner griller and don’t want to keep eyes on the meat when grilling.
