What is the temp range it seals at and isnit adjustable?

Answer: It does have temperature control (which is actually a timer control), but they don't provide temperature ranges. I have it set just under the mid point range for sealing 2mil ploy bags and it works perfectly. It takes about a second to seal the bags. It's an all metal well built unit.

Answer: I don't know what the range of temperatures is, but it is adjustable.

Answer: No there are no replacement strips you just throw it away. It is a waste of your money.

Answer: I don’t know the answer to your question. Maybe check with the company. Haven’t had mine long enough to warrant a replacement strip.

Mine doesn't turn on when i plug it in. i see no power button on it. i'm assuming it's faulty. am i correct?

Answer: It automatically turns on when its pressed down to seal.

Answer: Hello, Simply push the arm down for it to work. Lift the arm back up it is off. I set the heat number to 5 and that seems good, not to hot.

Answer: Try it on a bag first. The little light comes on when you seal a bag.

Does it seal Kraft coffee bags?

Answer: I use it on heat sealable Kraft Stand-up pouches and it works well. I would guess it depends on the inner lining, but I have it set to 4 and get a solid seal in about 2 seconds.

Chris D : It melted itself

This thing was great but just today, I was using it maybe for the 10th time since I’ve had it and left the garage for a few minutes. I started smelling burning plastic and ran out to the garage to find that the thing had nearly caught fire. I’ve never seen this happen before and maybe I had a faulty switch on it. So glad I caught it before anything bad happened because I’ve got $40k of equipment in that garage :o

Traci Thompson : Knob not attached inside was not attached bad unit

Unfortunately I waited three weeks or so to try this. When I open the box the settings knob was not attached the knob it’s off on the unit was not attached inside the unit. You couldn’t tell if you were off on or what setting you were on. Just not a good buy it could’ve been a bad one that came off the wind it Quality Control just didn’t catch I don’t know. It was easy to use but I don’t think I would recommend this unit.

I ordered this product and it didn't even turn on when I received it. I returned and it bought another one as I figured it was just a fluke and all other reviews were 5 stars. So, I received the second unit and again, it doesn't work at all. I'm returning the 2nd unit as well. I would not recommend this product.

This was to replace a previous sealer which quit working after just a few hours use. I design wreaths and use the sealer to cut mesh to prevent fraying. This one is lightweight, heats quickly with adjustable temperature control and does a fantastic job!! Light indicates when the cut is done.
