Answer: In my experience Heddon makes 2 lengths of this type of lure - small and large if you will..

Answer: Mine are 3 1/2". If bought and fishing for reds be sure to garbage the 3rd rate treble hooks and replace with ones rated 3x or 4x in size 2.

FERNANDO : Excellent lure for topwater striper action!

I am very pleased with this lure. It cast very far and easy with 10 and 12 lb mono line. Good price and quality along with good topwater action during the retrieve. I caught dozens of schoolie stripers this fall with it and had a lot of fun. I am glad that I purchased several of these just in case of a price increase for next season!

Retrieval is a bit tricky as it's half a Chug and half a Spook. Takes a while to get the rhythm and even then it performs neither here nor there.

These things are "killers". Heddon always makes quality lures. Can't go wrong with this manufacturer. Every time you see a professional guide "catching them up" while you're skunked, there's only a few things that make the difference. Heddon is one. After you get the "location, location, location" down, then it's: time, temp, tide, etc. If they don't hit on one color, try another. Always a quality product. Give a quick rinse after salt water, of course, but these are so far above the cheapies, it's not funny. Don't skimp. It's not worth it.

One of the ten lures I use for Chesapeake bay stripers !! Every year it works for me. Never had any issues with them and they have a great walking chugging action

Señuelo muy atractivo para surfcasting. Muy atractivo muchos ataques igual que su señuelo hermano Super Spook Junior; Me parece que el color hueso influye mucho en lo atractivo para los peces. La boca chata hace que burbujee de repente se hunde un poco y no es tan fácil el movimiento como con su primo hermano pero es un buen señuelo anzuelos muy resistentes

I love fishing these. It’s become my favorite top water lure. I don’t think color really matters. I keep an eye on them and when I can get one less than $8 I order it. I’ve used bone color the most but recently used chartreuse/silver, and bone/silver. I have caught a ton of fish on all of them.
