Does it cast well into the surf from the shoreline?

Answer: I bought this lure for my husband who goes deep sea fishing off the coast of Mexico. I asked him if it would cast well from the shoreline and he said yes it would. Happy fishing.

Answer: Very strong plastic and stainless steel wire-through construction. 3X strong VMC treble hooks.

Answer: Yes, it is. There is a steel wire cross through inside the popper from tail to head with hinge(split ring) attached for trebles or line.

Answer: What do you mean ‘a through wire lure’? It has a little thing upfront (on the left side) where you tight your line to and you throwing it in and slowly pull out.

Is this popper good to use for long casting but fishing on the rocks. and can you use a braided line of 30 lbs ?

Answer: Probably not. It is a massive lure.Its like castings 16 once soda can. The 30lb braid could handle it if you are up for the challange. Product is nice quality just large.

How can i attach the lure to the line so it wont break when i try a hard long distance cast?

Answer: Depends on the strength of your leader but a uni knot or a loop knot should do the trick.

Large well made popper. Been using them for surf casting and you can see the fish following. Even if they don’t hit it they are following. Great action in the water. Seem not to rust but time will tell. After reading that their were issues with them falling apart I really disagree. Will definitely buy again.

I had high hopes for this lure. I too it out twice and cast it about 50 -75 times over 2 days. I am vid fisher man that spends 1000s on gear 1000s of hours of my life. I was stunned that the rear hook wire simply disintegrated like pot metal. I really need a large chugger like this but no way I would buy another one unless this was a 1 off. Ive contacted Yozuri before for terrible; heat treating and they could care less.
