Answer: I modified the MasterBuilt Side shelf for the cold smoker on the right. Simple to clamp in place and drill holes. I backed both sides of the bolts with large washers. It can still fold down when I am using the smoker in the normal way.

Answer: Yes it DOES work. I have a 40 and accidentally ordered this. It works fine with one side of the smoker attached to the stand and is very stable. The other side just hangs off a few inches. It also saves you a LOT of money with this hack.

Answer: I use the big tin foil pans that you can buy at the grocery store. Just put one on the tray directly under what ever you are smoking. or on the bottom of the smoker.

The cover I have (regular 30" Masterbuilt cover) does not go down far enough to cover the stand. I do suggest, with or without a stand, on any surface, to place some kind of mat on the ground in front of it when smoking and cleaning a smoker. Answer: The leg kit is extremely sturdy, the legs have front to back and side to side supports adding to the sturdiness of the kit. There is no shelf but the back wheels make it much easier to move around.

WRONG!! I ended up having to call them and was told to order the "Universal" model; something entirely different in appearance but that one worked for my particular smoker. Why not just give them a call and be confident you are ordering the right stand the first time instead of wasting time and money like I did?

This is a very sturdy stand. For what it is, it is a good item. That is why I have given it three stars. Honestly, the item is probably a four or five star item. However, I’ve given it a low rating because the product did not really specify that it would not work with certain smoker models. I had one of the models that this is not compatible with. So I went to return it and they were going to charge me to return it. So instead I had to cut the hole bigger so that it would work. I just wish that it would have been more specific about which models work and which models don’t.

I have a 30-inch model 20070910. I bought it because in the Q&A on 7/23/2019, the seller answered a previous question specifically stating that it would fit model 20070910. However, it does not. The cutout on the stand is not the right configuration for the 20070910 smoker. I made it work by enlarging the cutout with a pair of snips.

Looks like it would be a nice stand IF IT FITS your particular smoker. I strongly suggest you DO NOT take Masterbuilt's word for what will or won't fit your smoker

Sturdy but the cutout does not fit the 30" Masterbuilt that I just bought. It was likely made to fit an older model. Still, I was able to use the table. It includes two long bolts so was able to secure the back but the front feet are not secured. It is rather a pain to move it around since the stand is semi-affixed to the smoker.

As far as stands go, it works well. But it doesn't fit with the Masterbuilt 20071117 30" Digital Electric Smoker without some modifications and the cold smoker attachment doesn't fit well either. But it serves my purpose and I'll be using it.

I bought this for smoker I got for Christmas. This says it fits my smoker but in the end it did not. I read a few other reviews of people who had the same problem and it looks like I will have to modify mine just like they did. The hole is not the same size as the bottom of my smoker. Other have said they had to make the hole bigger which is what I’m going to have to do. Just be aware that this may not fix your smoker exactly.

We bought this stand for use with a model 20071117 30" smoker. Assembly is fairly easy, although you will need your own tools and it does take a bit fiddling to get it to sit perfectly level, and even then you may have to bust out some shims. The problem I ran into was that this stand does not perfectly fit the 20071117 and the listing does not say which smokers the stand will fit, so be aware and do some research before you buy.

Amazon Customer : Does Not Fit With My 40" Masterbuilt Smoker
Product was returned and money was refunded. It was advertised as fitting "most" models of the 40" Masterbuilt smokers, however, it did not list which models it would work with. After opening the package I noticed the slot in the base would not match up with the bottom of my smoker. The box did indicate which models of smokers it would work with. This could have been avoided it had originally advertised which models it worked with.

We bought this stand for use with a model 20071117 30" smoker. Assembly is fairly easy, although you will need your own tools and it does take a bit fiddling to get it to sit perfectly level, and even then you may have to bust out some shims. The problem I ran into was that this stand does not perfectly fit the 20071117 and the listing does not say which smokers the stand will fit, so be aware and do some research before you buy.

Assembly was easy but the final product is out of square and awkward. No wheels so it's hard to move. It elevates the smoker to a much better level. Order carefully for your model smoker. My 30" Masterbuilt, glass door was not a good fit but I made it work with a little modification.
John Brase : Does not easily fit every Masterbuilt electric smoker
Though this stand is made for the Generation 1 electric smokers it does not easily fit all Gen.1 versions. I needed to slightly modify the mounting holes in order to line up with the mounting points on the smoker. Not too hard if you have a round file and an extra few minutes. The stand itself is easy to assemble and appears sufficiently sturdy. I bought it mainly to provide a spot to put my "mailbox" smoke generator mod but the added working height is also a plus.

I bought this along with my new Masterbuilt 20072112 Bluetooth smoker. The attaching bolts were too short and I had to make two trips to the hardware store to finally get bolts that fit. I did not have to take off the smoker's wheels but it took longer to get the unit attached properly and leveled than it did to assemble the actual smoker and stand.

I needed a stand for my Bradley Smoker and this was the best one I could find for the price. The only negative is the lack of wheels to be able to easily move the stand around. I solved that problem by building a frame of 2x4s and screwing it onto the bottom of the stand. (See attached photo.)

This product was missing 2 pieces of hardware. I tried to call the customer service number and was on hold for 29 minutes. The 2nd call I talked with an agent that told me that she only handles issues with the Masterbuilt electric smoker and not the stand that is also a Masterbuilt product. I had to go to the hardware store to get the 2 nuts for the 2 bolts that connects the smoker to the stand. Why is Masterbuilt selling this as a bundle if they have nothing to do with the stand that is a Masterbuilt product.

This does NOT fit the Master Built 30" smoker as it said on Amazon. I didn't realize that until I had assembled it. I returned it, but only after the assembly, disassembly, repacking, and hauling it down to the UPS store.

I bought this particular stand because it was referred by Amazon along with the cover at the time that I ordered the smoker. After spending the time to assemble the thing and finding it doesn't fit, I found that my model smoker isn't listed in the compatibility listing found on the stand's box. Apparently, Amazon does not check compatibility very well before offering it as a combination purchase.
Update: Amazon continues to recommend this when purchasing Masterbuilt Smoker 20075315. According to Masterbuilt and per my personal experience, this is the wrong stand for that smoker. Amazon is attempting to charge me a restocking fee for returning it. Very poor customer service!

I bought this for smoker I got for Christmas. This says it fits my smoker but in the end it did not. I read a few other reviews of people who had the same problem and it looks like I will have to modify mine just like they did. The hole is not the same size as the bottom of my smoker. Other have said they had to make the hole bigger which is what I’m going to have to do. Just be aware that this may not fix your smoker exactly.

Works perfect, easy to put together and is the perfect height. Just make sure you measure your smoker. The base is suppose to bolt to the bottom of the smoker to secure it all together. A 30 inch smoker will not bolt to a 40 inch base and is a versa.

I know these stands seem a little to pricey to some, but believe me, they are solid. Plus they look really nice. Nothing works better than the item that was actually made to custom fit your smoker. I originally bought one of these several years ago for my 30 inch. This time around I ordered it along with my 40 inch smoker. Highly recommend.

Shame on you Masterbuilt. This unit does NOT fit all 30" smokers. It doesn't even fit all 30" non-bluetooth models. Further shame, since while you do list what models it fits, you don't include the model number anywhere on the smoker or in the manual, so you have no way to know as a customer if this unit will fit your smoker or not.

BUYER BEWARE: This stand does not fit the smokers that Amazon is pairing it with. This was my Christmas present to myself. The cutout in the picture is 90 degrees different from the smoker Amazon's website algorithm paired it to. Masterbuilt is phasing out these stands and are pushing the legs instead. The legs are shorter and don't have a shelf. We are debating about 1) returning everything to Amazon and buying the other brand with a stand. 2) getting a friend to cut out the correct position 3) returning the smoker and buying a smoker that fits, so far I haven't found one on Amazon. I have learned not to trust the recommendation Amazon pairing algorithm.

When I first seen this, I asked my husband.. You think you would like one of these? He said nah... I'm okay. I bought it for him for Christmas from the pets. He has told me multiple times how much of a difference it has made when he is smoking meat. Highly recommend.

Product stated it would fit 30" smokers. How ridiculous that 30" Bluetooth smoker that looks and is IDENTICAL is almost every way will not fit with supplied screws. I just attached back screws since they do align properly and it seems OK. But Masterbuilt should supply a 'kit' to bluetooth 30" models (Mine is 20072215-- Lowes exclusive) and send to these customers. OR indicate clearly it will not work. I'm still left to wonder why.
Also hard to believe there are no wheels but the product is light enough to move as needed.

good quality- I installed wheels in the bottom of the feet so I could roll it - wish they would design the stand to incorporate wheels, other than that, it has held up great for the year I have had it.

The stand itself is just okay, though a bit flimsy feeling. The big issue is that the bolts supplied aren't long enough to attach the stand to the MES 40m smoker. Masterbuilt and Amazon do a very poor job of conveying that this stand does not fit many of the newest generation MES 30 and 40 smokers. Really poor effort Amazon and Masterbuilt.
JRR : Want to make it easier to use the smoker?
The smoker stand raises the smoker up so that you do not have to bend down when you use the lower rack . Also helps in the clean up. I had total back fusion and I would not be able to smoke without it. Once you get hooked on smoked meat it is hard to eat any that has not been smoked. I found it to be a good investment and it is solid.

After speaking to customer service about not fitting my smoker they advised that after repeated attempts to Amazon it does not fit as labeled. I used a metal sawsall to retrofit by gently sculpting out a slightly larger indent and it works perfect now. So if U have a little do-it-yourself abilities I am giving it 5 stars, if not U will hate it.

Disappointed. My wife got me a Masterbuilt Smoker for a gift. She also got me some other accessories, including this stand. The product description states it 'fits most 40" Masterbuilt Smokers'. It does not fit the MB20072618- which is the model which I have. Of course, I only find this out after assembling the blasted thing, and go to install it. Of course, I assembled it several days ago when it arrived and didn't have time to try to install it until today. The box and all packing materials are trashed and already recycled. No way to ship it back (plus i won't be dis-assembling). Out $60 and not happy about this. The description should state EXACTLY which models this stand will fit.
Dean Fisher : Weak directions to mount smoker
The stand went together pretty easy. I added 7 inch wheels to the rear and a handle to front with pads on the front posts of stand. But front pads on smoker do not come off so mounting was creative. Needed to really adjust the rear bolts using the nuts from smoker and washers from wheels. So just the rear of the smoker is attached to the stand. Not as secure as it should be. The big square hole lined up perfectly.

This is a very sturdy stand. For what it is, it is a good item. That is why I have given it three stars. Honestly, the item is probably a four or five star item. However, I’ve given it a low rating because the product did not really specify that it would not work with certain smoker models. I had one of the models that this is not compatible with. So I went to return it and they were going to charge me to return it. So instead I had to cut the hole bigger so that it would work. I just wish that it would have been more specific about which models work and which models don’t.

I like that my smoker is up off the ground now and I can see into it while it’s smoking without having to bend over. It’s solid construction. I wish it had wheels to move it like we’re on the smoker without the stand. It also could have had better installation instructions. I figured it out, but instructions were super clear.

After getting several responces from the company assurung mr this stand was the correct model for my smoker, it WAS NOT! The cutout on the bottom was wrong, I had to use tin snips to make it fit, so much for that.

MeanGreen : Solid build but doesn’t fit all 40 inch Mastercraft electric smokers
This is a solid built frame but it did not actually fit my 40 inch Masterbuilt smoker. I drilled bolt holes on front of frame to mount my smoker on it. After adapting it, it seems very solid.
RVer : Worth adding to your smoker
I didn't plan on buying the optional stand for my 30 inch Masterbuilt smoker but when I saw this on sale I bought it. I'm glad I did. After installing the base and using the smoker I noticed that quite a bit of water was draining out of the bottom of the smoker. With the smoker directly on the patio and in the winter with snow, even with the smoker covered water had found its way under the bottom sheetmetal cover of the smoker. This would have taken a toll on the life of unit over time. Now it is far above the elements and it is also easier to load meat without bending over so far.

This little stand is a great deal and pretty well built. Can easily elevate your smoker to make it more accessible to use and manipulate your cooking. I read the reviews prior to purchasing and everyone seemed to like it but wanted mobility. I took a chance that I could add casters at virtually no cost. I had an extra set of casters left over from a project and they worked perfectly. Very stable and adapted to by Bradley Smoker no problem.

A couple of the construction details are not real clear for attaching it to the smoker. And my new smoker model number didn't match those for this stand. But you can still figure out easily how to put it together and attach your smoker with common sense. And it did work with my smoker. I did need to rack it a little after I put it together to get the holes to line up for attaching the smoker. It appears to be sturdy. And it looks like the metal is coated so that it won't rust too quickly. I live in the Seattle area. It will be under a patio canopy. But here everything is still damp for 6 to 8 months a year. I don't know if the nuts and bolts are anything other than zinc. Again that means rust. I say this because my gas bbq rusted out in 3 years under the cover. But it was cheap. I still give it 4 stars. But in 3 years I may change my mind. We will see.

This is a must buy if you are getting a Masterbuilt 30" smoker. This platform lifts the smoker about 16" off the ground and allows for easier access to getting things in and out of the smoker. This is a tremendous boon so that one does have to do power squats to get to their food.
There were a couple of reviews that mentioned that you need to modify this stand to make it fit securely, but I did not have that issue. Perhaps their stands were defective, but I did not have any issues.
