Answer: If you are asking if there is another part you will need between the bait board and a Scotty bracket, the answer is no. There is a post below the board that goes into the bracket's socket. A handy accessory would be the Scotty Gear Head Mount Extender so you can position the board exactly where you want it.

Answer: You need a Scotty extension arm (unless you want it mounted right up against the surface) and a Scotty Mount on the kayak, flush or raised mount will both work. Flush mount is a cleaner look if you have a place for it.

Answer: You use the regular Scotty rod mount which can be found on Amazon. You would through mount it on your kayak if possible. The board is not magnetized. If you search on Amazon for "Scotty", you should be able to find different mounting options. Hope this helps.

Answer: I'm not familiar with "bro craft. I use my Scotty Bait Board every time out and recommend it highly. The Scotty mount (#241) is only $6-$8 and would buy to make sure. I also have an 8 inch Scotty extension between the mount and board, and this works out just right. The bait board is good for cutting bait, but becomes a very useful prep station for everything else I use when fishing off of my boat.

Answer: I never tried cleaning fish on it. I guess its possible although a legal sea trout would be longer than the width of the board. I use it to keep various artificials on it to grab quickly. Also my pliers and snips. I also mount my camera on it.

Answer: It won't work with a railblaza system, which I have on my Crestliner. Only the Scotty mount. The alignment grooves don't match.

I was skeptical at first especially wasn't able see how the bottom looks like. But I gave it a shot and order it anyway. Received it tonight and found it very well made. Well worth the price. Took some picture of the bottom and uploaded it. I was trying to avoid buying the extension arm/pole so I order this plate and the $6 lockable mount. I originally planned on mounting it on a board at 45 angle so I can put my table on the plate but screw it, I'm ordering the arm after seeing how well it is made. It's a bloody $24 for the arm but I'm sure I'll be happy with it.

Very light and compact, but very tough and stiff... a very good combination of attributes for stable but agile mounting needs. Am using them in a kayak application and also as the basis for a unique swing platform for my in-home ham radio mounting setup.

I have several Scotty products on my pontoon boat and have been happy with this product line. I like to fish from the front of the boat and had used the captains style chairs to set stuff on to have it in reach while I am fishing. That works, but then I have stuff all over the seat.

I mounted this board with so it does not hang over the water and use it to hold my pliers, soft baits, lures, etc. The board and the add-on arm are small/light enough to hold the tray steady, but still large enough to be useful when fishing. I mounted a Scotty drink holder to the back right location and even with a glass bottle in the drink holder the board is stable enough for my needs.

Although it is not a necessity, I find that I use it all the time and would recommend it to others.

This bait table is awesome! Love having it on board. It fits into the existing Scotty mount and it comes off easily when we need to move it. Only issue we had is there is no way for the water to drain off it. My husband drilled a few holes into the back of the table part so that the water would drain off when we sprayed it clean. Other than that it has places to hold ur bait knife and a little lip so nothing falls off
