Questions about EOTECH G33 Magnifier
Q:
Will this work with the Aimpoint T1?
Answer: I have read that this combination works well. I use the G33 with an EOTech EXPS3-0, but want to put a T-1 (actually the new T-2, better optics) on another rifle for its light weight, but love the G33 magnifier. So I am considering this pairing as well. You may want to do a few searches on dedicated sites like ar15.com and m4carbine.net for some "expert" opinions.
Answer: I have an aimpoint pro and the rail on my colt 6920 is not long enough to mount the g33 without removing the rear MBUS. That being said, I have heard others say you should stick with the same manufacturer when it comes to magnifiers, such as eotech with eotech and aimpoint with aimpoint. Otherwise there may be alignment issues. That is a lot of money to spend if the magnifier doesn't properly align with your HWS. Hope that helps.
Answer: I have mounted this with a T1 on an A.R.M.S. cowitness mount and it worked and lined up perfectly.
Answer: U nf hth 23sw 3 u6
Q:
The description states 'imported'. EOTech products are made in Ann Arbor MI USA therefore Not Imported. Is this an error or ?
Answer: I'd check to see if the seller is outside the US. That may be what is being tagged as an"imported" item. But yes, EOTech is a Michigan company I believe.
Answer: Some components may have been imported elsewhere and assembled in MI, USA. I am not for certain.
Answer: This is error, yes, Amazon (for some reason) has more control over the listing than we do.
Answer: The box it came in says made in USA
Answer: Correct not imported and has export restrictions
Q:
Can this magnifier be used in conjunction with an aimpoint t2 or compm4s ? instead of an eotech?
Answer: i use it with a T2. eotech red dots(holographic) suck but i love this magnifier compared to aimpoint's magnifier. just make sure your T2 or compm4s' mount is at the correct height.
Answer: Yes. Use it with my T2. Just have the higher mount on the T2 so they align.
Answer: Yes, but you will probably need to adjust the height of the aim point by adding a shim under the base since they are not compatible in height. Good luck.
Answer: Love my eotec
Answer: Ues
Q:
what is the length of eye relief?
Answer: The eye relief for the EoTech G.33.STSAN is 2.2" (55.8mm
Answer: This is simply a magnifier, therefore parallax doesn't come into play with it. The best picture, full circle, is at about 2" however, it's about the comfort of the shooter really.
Q:
Does the magnifier have an ambidextrous hinge? Can it be flipped to the left side?
Answer: It is recommended to flip it to the left due to flying brass. You have to rotate the mount 180 degrees and screw the magnifier down to the mount to be able to flip it to the other side though. You cannot flip it to both sides without remounting the optic.
Answer: I had this problem as well being that my AR is left handed. You can not flip the hinge. But you can mount the scope backwards for lack of a better word so that it flips over to the left side. You just have to mount the magnifier a little bit further back but I have no problems when doing so. It's still very clear and accurate.
Answer: Yes, When you purchase it comes unmounted. You then mount so it flips right or left. I have mine so it flips to the right. Did not think about flying brass.
Answer: Yes it is ambidextrous. I have mine set up to flip off to the left.
Answer: don't know haven't tried that.
Answer: Negative
Answer: Yes it does.
Q:
I know eotech is a usa company but in the features and deatials it says "imported" anyone know where exactly the magnifiers are made?
Answer: In the item details description it also says that the manufacturer is “Big Rock”. Real Eotech products are made by L3.
Answer: Be careful lots of fake ones on the market watch YouTube videos
Q:
Will it work with an Eotech 512?
Answer: It should. It is somewhat height adjustable with a shim (that comes with it), so it works with the XPS-2 and the EXPS2. I don't see why you couldn't use it with the 512.
Answer: Yes it will, but I would recommend using the 517 or 556. The button controls are on the side with those models where the 512 controls are on the back.
Answer: Oh definitely. As long as the sight image is not in a radically different spot that is not lined up with the magnifier, it should be fine. Heck, I have my set about six inches forward of my magnifier (would have to wear glasses to shoot, otherwise) and it works fine.
Answer: It will work wonderfully well. There are no issues with the combination.
Answer: I use it on mine and it works great without the riser. You just have to set it back far enough to reach the buttons.
Answer: I don't know why not. There is a lifter to have it set higher on your rail, there is also an adjustment to center the MOA. I don't think there is a problem. I have seen picture with it on using what looks like the 512.
Answer: Yes it works flawlessly
Answer: Yes and you will love it. The Magnifier will make the ridicule clearer, sharper and give you 3x mag.
Answer: Yes It Will With The Included Shim/Riser
Answer: Yes it will sir!
Q:
will this work behind a mepro m21 on a Tavor?
Q:
The price says original was $1117 and the sale price is $549, that is what every place is selling them for. Is this a sale price?
Answer: $549.00 is Eotech's mandated minimum advertised price, eotech dealers are not allowed to sell below this price. This is not a sale price it is the every day price for this product.
Q:
Would this work behind a Trijicon 4x32 scope?
Answer: not well. no.
Q:
is this the same tan color as the actual tan eotech EXPS sight ?
Answer: Yes. It is a perfect desert tan. Matches all of my stuff
Answer: Yes mine match if not exactly then pretty much exactly. If someone is looking at them that closely then they are not your friend and you should not associate with them, bc you don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
Answer: The exact same.
Q:
does This come with plates to adjust the height?
Answer: Because it’s not the real Eotech. It’s a fake.
Answer: No. It also does not allow for optimal eye relief on many
Q:
Will this work with XPS2 opmod?
Answer: I use an xps2-0 and it works fine. I can access the controls no problem. Even with the g33 midline. I'm running it on a colt 6920. I use it for target shooting at 150 yards. I'm talking 3 inch groups at that range.
Answer: I run mine on an XPS2 and it works great it also comes with a riser that I didn't use but should level out nicely with the OPMOD
Answer: I run mine on an XPS2 and it works great it also comes with a riser that I didn't use but should level out nicely with the OPMOD
Answer: Yes, any of the EoTech 1x holographic scopes are compatible with this.
Answer: Works great!!!!!!!
Q:
Can I use this with a aimpoint pro??
Answer: Sure. The magnifier isn't EoTech specific. It will work with any optic, provided that the mount puts it at the same height as the magnifier. This one comes with a spacer that allows you to mount it at two different heights. It matches the two heights of EoTech bases perfectly, but it'll work with other brands with similarly-tall bases.
Answer: SWAT husband says yes. But make sure you check the mount. Might need to change mount height.
Answer: Not sure, you can try it...
Q:
Hello, you send on France ? How much does send it? Thank you
Answer: No can do. Any type of scope or weapon optic is "protected" under ITAR regulation, so unfortunately, I don't believe so at this time.
Q:
can you send to an APO address?
Q:
Are you able to switch the mount to flip left and right?
Answer: Yes it can be configured to flip EITHER left or right, not both at the same time.
Answer: no buttons are on the left side not on the right you cannot be flipped
Answer: yes, it depends how you fix the scope on the mount with two screws
Answer: yes, it depends how you fix the scope on the mount with two screws
Q:
The product description says import. Dimensions description also do not match what Eotech sight states. Is this real or a knock off?
Answer: The unit i bought was 3 years ago and it was an eotech. They may have upgraded this unit since then.
Answer: It’s fake. Like the entire Amazon Eotech store.
Answer: I have one and have no complaints, works and fits as advertised!
Answer: I Don't Know, Sorry
Q:
how many yards does this eotech magnify up to?
Answer: it is basically a 3X magnification no matter what distance you are shooting. so, for instance, a 100 yard shot will appear in the magnifier as about 33 yards...
Q:
When this is flipped over to the side does it get in the way of the ejected brass?
Answer: No. With it folded over it is above and behind the path of ejected cases.
Answer: No, I used it with two different semi auto rifles and never had this problem. I guess that it would depend on the gun you use. If the ejected brass already come back in your face when you use a gun, then, the flipped scope might also find itself in the way.
Answer: I have never had an issue with brass hitting it. I have a rear flip as far back as I can put it and the g33 directly in front of that so it's pretty far back. But like I said, I've never had brass hit mine.
Answer: Doesn't on my DDM4. I'd bet L3/Eotech did plenty of testing prior to launch and I haven't seen any feedback indicating a problem. I never used one but I think the previous 'twist to side' models would stick out further over the ejection port and I never heard anything about them causing ejection issues either so you're good to go. I use mine with an XPS2 and it also works like a champ withy Aimpoint T-1. Side note: As a photographer I appreciate the quality of the glass in this unit.
Answer: No, you can set it up to flip left of right. Also, it would depend on where you place it. But, I don't think it will. At least it hasn't with me yet.
Answer: No I have never had this issue. You can also change the side it flips on as well.
Answer: I have not had any issues to date, it may depend on where you establish connection to the rail.
Answer: No
Q:
Does this eotech g33 come with a mount
Answer: The g33 mounts directly on a picatinny. It does not come with a picatinny.
Answer: Yes, however the magnifier does not come attached to the mount because you can select from two height adjustments when mounting.
Answer: MIne did but I can't speak for what you are ordering, mine specifically stated with the slide and turn mount used on eotech holo sites
Answer: The one I bought did.,
Answer: Mine did.
Answer: Yes it does.
Q:
Will you need to sight in the EO Tech again after you attach it?
Answer:
Answer:
Answer: No. Once the red dot is sighted in, you don't need to sight it in again. Only adjustment you make is to center the red dot in the middle of the magnifier. Easy attached and adjust looking through the magnifier.
Answer: Magnifier adjustment is to center the red dot in the magnifiers view. You should not need to sight in the red dot. Imo.
Answer: Its always best to confirm the sight again after re-attaching it for you might mount it alil off
Answer: I did not have to re sight when mounted to my rifle.
Answer: There may be some small adjustment needed at farther distances...up close and personal u should be in...
Answer: You should just to make sure the reticle is in the center of the magnifier. But not that big of a deal
Answer: No. Everything will jut be zoomed in.
Q:
Does it work with the EOTECH HWS? What I mean is, does this magnifier "cowitness" with the HWS?
Answer: Yes, they include a spacer that I believe is for this. If not, between the spacer, or no spacer, you also have quite a bit of control with the adjustable elevation turret.
Q:
Diopter is built to focus the reticle or the background where you are watching?
Answer: Diopter is for the background. The reticle projects at the plane your eye is focussed on already due to the magic of holographic projection. The reticle will always be in focus (or at least as much in focus as it ever is, they're naturally a little fuzzy), you need only focus on the target.
Q:
what generation is this?
Answer: This is the most current generation of magnifier and mount offered by EOTech. It replaced the G23.FTS.
Answer: Its the 3rd Generation version. Harder to come by than the earlier versions due to demand, but I'm definitely happy with the purchase.
Answer: 3rd and the latest. I have two cheaper magnifiers made by different manufacturers and there is no comparison. I would recommend "buy the best and cry once" with this one.
Q:
Will this work with eotech L3
Answer: Yes, one of the recommended setups
Answer: Yes
Q:
Has anyone actually used this magnifier with the EoTech 517? Just want to be sure they match up well.
Q:
How long is the mounting point?
Q:
Would I need a different mount to pair this with an Aimpoint T2 on a lower 1/3 mount?
Answer: It comes with 2 spacers. The shorter one might work.
Q:
Can you partner a Vorteck magnifier with an EoTech red dot?
Answer: Yes, and I was going to do just that ..... but at the last minute I questioned why I was going cheap on the mag ..... I didn’t go cheap with the Eotech dot ..... I spent the extra bucks to buy the Eotech mag .....
Answer: Yes you can, you just need to ensure your mount for the Vortex is the right height. The magnifier comes with a spacer, it should be good to use with either a 1/3 co witness sight or a absolute co witness height sight.
Answer: Yes, I did and it works great. The G33 was designed for this by EoTech. Prices have fallen since I bought mine, for what ever reason. I would recommend.
Answer: Absolutely!
Q:
If i own a night vision exps3 and i buy the g33 do i still need to buy night vision goggles?
Answer: Yes. The night vision capabilities only dim the reticle to where it can be used with night vision, it doesn’t provide night vision.
Answer: Yes. The NV mode on the EOtech just means it can be seen with NODs on. You WILL need NODs to use the NV mode.
Answer: The IR setting on the EXPS3 only means the reticle is so dim it won't interfere with NOD/NVGs. It alone gives you no night vision capability.
Q:
Is this the gen 2 or gen 3?
Answer: The seller should provide that info for you.
Q:
Does the switch to side mount lock in place either up or down? And if not does it stay in line?
Answer: It locks in place both ways with a tension spring. And yes, it does stay in line. The holographic sight stays where you dialed it in. The magnifier just makes the recticle and the sight picture bigger. Its impractically heavy, but a cool piece of hardware none the less.
Answer: It's locked in the up position and stays in line. When pushed to the side it's not locked but it's not flopping around either. It stays put until you pull it back up.
Q:
On the top rail you mount this in front of your primary red dot right?
Answer: This is for Magnification, so this is the optic you will look through to magnifi your red dot sight.
Answer: No, you mount it behind. That way, when you look through it, the reticle is much easier to see.
Q:
does this qualify for 60 rebate through eotech
Answer: Mark E Is Correct. No rebate if Purchased through Amazon or Ebay
Answer: The rebate page says no Amazon purchases.
Answer: Yup...non-compliant through Amazon! :(
Answer: Yes
Q:
Will this work with the model 516? will it align ? i have a the gg&g hood with flip up covers
Answer: Yes it will align. Your going to have to lose the rear cover to seat the G33 close to the 516 however. IMO lose those GGG covers anyway.
Answer: I don’t know. I use a different model holo.
Q:
Is this the g33?
Q:
what screw is missing?
Answer: No screws are missing. The optic comes with all of the mounting hardware you need in the case, and the only screws are the ones used to affix the magnifier to the mount. There are two lengths: the short ones for attaching directly to the mount, and the long ones to attach to the mount with the 7mm riser in place (to obtain co-witness with a sight with an elevated base). Both sets of screws are included.
Q:
Is this compatible with the Aim Point Pro ?
Answer: Yes but it’s important that you get the right height mount for the magnifier to line up with your aim point
Q:
Is this compatible with the 512 eotech ?
Answer: It is compatible qith all red dot sights, not just the eotech series but yes it works with the 512. It even has adjustments so you can center the red dot to your liking.
Answer: It will work with all eotech holographics
Q:
Will this magnifier come with a riser?
Answer: Included 7mm riser enables cowitnessing with raised iron sights
Answer: Yes, it is best compatible EOTech magnifiers.
Answer: No riser
Answer: Yeah
Q:
Will this work with a Holosun 510C?
Answer: I see no reason why not!
Q:
Does this work with eotech xps2 ?
Answer: Yes, but you may need a riser on the xps2..
Answer: It sure does.
Answer: Yes they co-witness
Q:
Im having an issue with my left and right zero knob. It has my crossair way off senter and knly moves it to the right and not left?
Answer:
Answer:
Answer: I’m not quite understanding your problem but whatever you have in front of the magnifier you have to zero that out once you do that then you adjust the magnifier to the center of the eyepiece of what’s in front of it
Answer: Your magnifier shouldn’t have any crosshairs in it. May be a generic knock off.
Q:
Will it work with a trijicon rmr
Answer: Sorry, I don't know. I'm using a EOTech sight with mine. Contact EOTech, they can answer your question.
Q:
does this come with the switch to side mount?
Answer: The G 33 is already hinged to fold to the right side a with a firm push when you want to use the Eotech without magnification.
Answer: Yes. It switches to side via pushing on the magnifier.
Answer: There is a way to have it flip either right or left depending on how you mount it. It fits on a rail, so If you can mount it so that it lines up with what ever you want to use it for... There is some assembly required. You also have another mount that comes with it to rise it up for better alignment. It flips by pressure. You just flip it left or right. It uses tension to keep it in place.
Answer: Yes, it comes with the mount.
Answer: Yes. Everything you need is in the pack. Nice little unit.
Answer: Yes mine did!!
Q:
Why are there 2 sizes available? What is the “hat”?
Q:
What kind of finish is on the tan magnifier? Is it anodized?
Answer: Yes it’s a flat anodized ram
Q:
Will this color match the eotech flat dark earth?
Answer: Yes, it’s a genuine eotech product
Product reviews of EOTECH G33 Magnifier
A11Y1n : Great Product
eotech is awsome !
Skipster : Well , it is an ...
E.O. TECH !!! What can be said that hasn't already ? NOTHING ! They are arguably the best in the business at what they do and these mag's are no excception . Clear glass , simple operation , reliable product , ease of mounting and enhanced versatiliy at mounting with these new Gen 3's that make them just that much better ... GET YOU ONE AND SEE FOR YOURSELF
Jim Campbell : G33 and 512 work well together
Easy to install.
Sighted in two rifles at 100 yards with Eotech 512 in about 5 minutes using a spotter. The 512 works with the G33, and with it folded out of the way. The hinge is tight so grab it and move it, it can take it.
I have the 512 and G33 setup on two rifles and, so far, I'm happy with both. Hitting everything I want at 100 yards, which is the limit of the range where I shoot.
Eye relief is short, so plan to be right up close to your G33.
Mineral Miscreant : Works great. Reticle very crisp with G33.
Product was great. Case was missing a handle but Best-Outdoor-Experience promptly sent me a new one.
Richard Wong : you get what you pay for
much better than sightmark... you get what you pay for
S. Oakes : Good.
I like it. Could be a tad cheaper, lighter, and/or have a little more magnification. Good as is. I believe Sig just released a 4 power that's a hair cheaper. No experience with it.
I use this with an EoTech 2 dot. I'll probably use it with on old 512 to fine tune it on the range. It ends up being much easier to see the target and adjust the sights. Just flip it to the side if you don't want to use it. Nice functionality.
Seamus : Worth every penny
Best brand out there.
J.Foster : Pricey, but worth the money
The EoTech G33 adds more versatility to your firearm which for some a price can't be put on; it allows you to easily and fluidly switch from BUIS/red dot to a magnified optic for whatever need may arise. Could over 400 dollars be spent better elsewhere - probably. (When caught on sale and with EoTech's rebate, the deal is almost too good to pass up). However, if you do go this route, it's hard to top the G33 at anywhere near the pricerange. If you like a red dot setup, don't want to use a dedicated scope, don't want to spend 1.5 thousand on a Trijicon ACOG, but are looking to reliably hit targets at over 100 meters without straining the Mark I eyeball, this fixes your problem with only minimal additional weight and at a cheaper price even with the additional price of a separate red dot included. Eye relief is good, but may take some longer to get accustomed to than others. Sight picture is crystal clear with an excellent field of view. The solid construction keeps up with military and law enforcement abuse, and will keep you confident a bump or accident won't ruin your magnifier, even if after spending the money dropping it gives you a panic attack.
Roger Binford : Waited and waited and waited
I have Eotechs on two different rifles and I'm able to swap this back and forth. The 3X is just the right magnification for the tactical shooting that I practice.

MEB : Better than before.
The is 10 time better than the previous version. Adjustments allow you to position the sight where you want it. Very solid mount. Same gear used by forces assigned under USSOCOM.
Mark : Even better than the old model. Quick, clear, and dependable.
I ran a G23 magnifier (the previous model) for years in competition, and the G33 is even better. The optic is faster to pick up, with less time spent trying to find the right eye relief even for shooters unfamiliar with the platform it's mounted on. This doesn't make much difference for someone who is experienced with the platform and able to produce a consistent cheek-weld, but makes it easier for even an experienced shooter to get on target when shooting from an awkward position that does not allow a natural stance. The shorter overall length gives you more options about how you place this and other items on the rail, too.
The older mount was spring-loaded, with a small tab to release the catch and allow the magnifier to flip to the side. The new mount doesn't have any release tab or small springs. Just shove the body of the magnifier out of your way. This new system is a little bit slower than the old one, but easier to manipulate with fatigued, sweaty hands. It's also a lot more solid than the old one. I'm confident that any impact hard enough to damage this mount would shatter the glass in the optic, which is itself very rugged. It has taken all of the abuse I've thrown at it and has not shown any signs of trouble.
The glass itself is clear, and I've not found any tendency to parallax, even with a bad cheek-weld forcing my line of sight out of the center axis of the magnifier. I liked it so much I ordered another one in black for my wife's competition rifle.
In short, this is a fantastic magnifier on a good, solid mount.
Chris : This is a great addition for the EOTech EXPS-3
This is a great addition for the EOTech. Mounts easy and is a well built optic magnifier. It comes in a nice foam box for safe storage when not on a rifle.
phillip roberts : Great product!
This magnifier does exactly what its supposed to, works perfectly with my 552 eo tech, can be switched to rotate right or left, and sits over my back up iron siggts without disturbing them. Gives my rifle the advantages of a scope with the ease of use of a reflex sight.
Tim Johnson : Pretty awesome
It works awesome with my EXPS3-2. Glass is clear and I'm hitting a 5 inch target at 270yds without a problem with a no magnification red dot. I've got 900 rounds into it and it's as solid as when it came out of the box.
Roger Binford : Waited and waited and waited
I have Eotechs on two different rifles and I'm able to swap this back and forth. The 3X is just the right magnification for the tactical shooting that I practice.
BB : Five Stars
Pricey, but It is a quality item.
Reven : Excellent addition
This magnifier is quite nice. It is sturdy and well made, as an EOTech should be with the price. But just a small price to pay for something you know you can rely on. It comes in its own plastic flip box which is padded very well inside, along with a small riser for 7mm optics. It fits snug on the rail and the holographic sight is as clear through the magnifier as it is without it. There is not a quick flip button or lever, so you have to physically move it over. The hinge is very solid and you have to put some 'umph' in moving it, but to me that is how it should be, with no shaking or wobbling. Goes right back to where it was. The quick release lever for removing the magnifier works nicely as well. just push the end of the button, flip the lever and tilt it off. Just as easy to put it back on, only you just have to flip the lever back to lock it in. The only thing I had to do with it right out of the box, was wipe a few smudges off of the lens.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this magnifier and I can't wait to try it out.
Joshua Woodworth : Buy it
What's not to like? Easy install. Clear glass. Just enough magnification. Hitting targets out to 600 yards now. 10/10 would buy again!

bryan vanlent : Phenomenal
This thing is phenomenal. Very easily mountable, and switches from magnification to non magnification positions quickly. The only negative thing I would be able to say is that it lines up poorly with my EOTech 300 Blackout Holographic's operational buttons while in the non magnification position, making it difficult to press the brightness up.
Db133 : Awesome
I don’t know what everybody else is complaining about this piece is amazing. If it’s too expensive for you get something else... there are Honda’s and there are Mercedes ... this is the Mercedes .... don’t buy the damn thing and then bitch about the price!
Joey A : Best Magnifier on the market
Real deal eotech magnifier, works great paired with a exps3-0
Chris : This is a great addition for the EOTech EXPS-3
This is a great addition for the EOTech. Mounts easy and is a well built optic magnifier. It comes in a nice foam box for safe storage when not on a rifle.
Edward : Cool Devil on the other
Cheap Angel on one shoulder vs. Cool Devil on the other: I deeply contemplated how to justify paying $500 for a magnifier. I have a Primary Arms 3X LER which is good to use with my PA AMD and like it. I tried the Vortex 3X but the eye relief was horrible and I sent it back. I tried the Burris which is practically the same glass quality as the EOtech but the mount didn't work being ever so slightly low for the EXPS2. I could have bought a 1/3 co-witness mount for the Burris but I got frustrated and ordered this EOtech G33. I'm glad I did because the glass is truly exceptional and the QD FTS mount is exceptional. I love the combination of the EXPS2 with the G33 Magnifier. The ONLY reason I give this four stars instead of five is because of the price. I would have felt a lot more comfortable at $400 but life isn't perfect. Given the struggle over the price, I would still recommend buying the G33 because I simply cannot send it back. It's perfect.
Matthew Henderson : Just get it.
To be honest I was concerned about counterfeit EOtechs on amazon. I took a chance on this G33 magnifier and photos speak for themselves. Was a fresh, legit eotech magnifier and the inspection date shows it wasn’t some old stock laying around a warehouse for years. Can’t speak for all amazon sellers, but Optics Buddy came through big time.
Amazon Customer : Great
Bought for husband. He loved it
Alan c cook : Cheap bait and switch knockoff!
This was a bait and switch. I payed for a gen 3 eotech magnifier $355 what I got was a cheap, used Vierfield magnifier worth $75. To say I’m pissed is an understatement!

Over priced. Other magnifier from Primary arms or sightmark does the same job. I guess its bragging rights
Doc Brown : Clear, Clean Glass
Very clear optic. Eye relief is 1" - 2" at best. Flip to left puts the mag right in your line of sight for both eyes open red dot shooting. Flip to right puts the mag in the path of ejected cases and the quick release clamp impedes the blading of the charging handle. There are two rotating knobs. One on top. One on the right side. These are to align the mag to center your red dot. Nice feature BUT... you have to be exceptionally cautious not to bump the knobs when flipping out or into use.

Eotech makes great equipment and this product is great to add a little magnification to a eotech sight. It flips down out of the way when you don't need it. Really good product.

I received this item within a few days of ordering it. It is exactly what I wanted. I finally had the chance the test it this past weekend. It mounted very easily and seems extremely sturdy even with the flip to side mechanism which I was worried about. There is no play and the eye relief isnt that bad. If you already that an eotech red dot I highly recommend it. It makes a world of difference. Well worth the cost.
Amazon Dude : Just keep in mind that this combined with eotech sight/laser combo is pretty bulky on a carbine size rifle
This product works well. Just keep in mind that this combined with eotech sight/laser combo is pretty bulky on a carbine size rifle. Maybe too big. Nothing against the products but I think I should have stuck with a smaller reflex sight.
Raymond P Enriques : Awesome
Best on the market love it. You hey what you pay for with EOTech.

Pricey, but It is a quality item.

Robert : Minor quality control. Update
I will be sending mine back to optics buddy Only because the epoxy that holds in the front lens in, there were droplets of epoxy on the housing by the lens. I will be buying another one after I send this back I think it’s just because they are putting out so many of these the quality control is dropping some what.....
Decided to keep it just less hassle.
David : Five Stars
I like EoTech products, but near had enough money to buy one until now. I really like it
Jim Campbell : G33 and 512 work well together
Easy to install.
Sighted in two rifles at 100 yards with Eotech 512 in about 5 minutes using a spotter. The 512 works with the G33, and with it folded out of the way. The hinge is tight so grab it and move it, it can take it.
I have the 512 and G33 setup on two rifles and, so far, I'm happy with both. Hitting everything I want at 100 yards, which is the limit of the range where I shoot.
Eye relief is short, so plan to be right up close to your G33.
kwillia : Does work great on an AR10 or AR15 platform
Doesn't fit well on a SA M1A Socom II, the eye relief is ~2". Does work great on an AR10 or AR15 platform. highly recommended.
Greg P : Let the Zombies come
It's Eotech....I don't know what else to say. They make the best magnifier on the planet. I added this to my AR as a finishing touch and it allows me to shoot further and more precisely.
Stephen : Highly reccomend
Awesome stuff. I paired it with the OPMOD eotech because I prefer the 1 dot and not 2 or 4. Thing is crystal clear and the slap-to-side works perfect and you can feel the quality in it when you use it. You know its not goign to be coming loose anytime soon.
If you buy this and pair it with the holographic sight, make sure you search for and buy the scopecoat!!!
Watkins : Eotech! Enough said...
Great product as expected! Quality construction and clear glass
Raymond P Enriques : Awesome

P38 : ruggedness and flip over action is the best in the business
Well I've been using it for some time now and it's just as advertised. Spend the extra clams as the fit, quick release clamp, ruggedness and flip over action is the best in the business, not the mention the glass and adjustment features are rugged, easy to see thru and easily to work with your fingers too. Makes a big difference over 200 yards for these old eyes. Thanks to Big Rock and Amazon as well!
Sgt. Earl : A solid enhancement for an EoTech red dot optic
Typical EoTech quality. Just what I needed to enhance the range and flexibility of my 5.56 carbine optics system.
