I originally only bought 100 bags to test. These bags are so convenient. My Food Saver V2490 is about 15 years old and I had no issues with these bags. I like these so much I bought three different sizes and 400 of the 6" x 10" and 8" x 12" and 200 of the 11" x 16" - though these big one I don't use much. I still use the Food Saver box setup, but not nearly as often. These bags are definitely worth the money.
The one item to note. These bags are thicker than the name brand, which is nice if you have ever dropped the name brand ones and found out later that the bag got punctured and the food got freezer burned.
The downside is that these bags need to always be sealed on wet and not dry setting. Sometimes I even have to double seal just for safety.
If you are doing wet items I sometimes double seal in exactly the same spot. I then pull out the bag and dry the inside lip and then seal again on wet in a different spot. It can be a bit more work, but I do like the better price and thicker bags. Hope this helps.

I cook a lot and vacuum meals for the freezer. These bags don't compare to the other bags that I've purchased through Amazon (Wevac). These are hit and miss on the ability to hold the suction and mostly miss - causing air and freezer burn. I wish I would have looked at the last order more carefully to get the name before ordering these. Look for Wevac bags instead - the seal on your food will thank you!

Hundreds of these vacyaya bags are being wasted Cutting these bags and actually getting the vacuum sealer to seal these bags is damn near impossible without spending hours of heating them up with a heat gun and flattening them back out so that they can work properly.
