Good for sunfish?

How wide is handle I’m trying to see if it will fit in a holding clip?

would this net be good for sand crabs

Answer: I have used this for live baits (fish and shrimps) so I don't have first hand knowledge for sand crabs. The mesh size is small enough for sand crabs and the net drains well so I think it should be okay. Hope this helps.

Answer: The net itself no including the handle measures 7 inches across and 7inches from top of net to where the handle starts. The net is 5 1/2 inches deep. Handle measures 9 inches

Would this net be good for saltwater? Corrosion resistant?

Answer: Excellent bait dip net designed for the offshore angler

Answer: I bought one of these about 6 months ago and I use it in saltwater all the time and it has not begun to rust yet and I don't hose it off on a regular basis. I don't think the metal is stainless but it seems to be holding up well. I'd recommend it for salt water.

Answer: Basically would be fine for saltwater. We have used it a few times in the ocean with no problem. May not hold up for extended use.

Would this be good for scoooping up a golf ball from the cart w/out bending so much! I'm ordering it to try that!

Answer: If your talking about a singe ball or a few at a time, you should be fine.

how deep is the netting ?

Is the webbing deep enough to scoop large bait? I use live mackerel, which can be up to 12" long.

Answer: Don't know exactly how deep the webbing is but its probably a little small for 12" mackerel. Its good for 7-8" pogies but they don't move around as much as mackerel. You may want to go a little bigger than this net. All in all though its been a good net, I've had it about 1.5yrs and it hasn't started rusting yet.

The net on this is way too shallow, the net should have been made deeper. This net is almost depthless like a pool skimmer or a spatula, therefore any fish you would scoop into this net would immediately flop out of this net, regardless of how fast you intend to empty this net. A waste of money, throwing it away.

Perfect in size to scoop live bait from a 5G bucket. Quality seems to be okay and only time will tell. It does the job so far.

For me this is perfect size. I use it to scoop fresh shad out of my livewell for bass fishing in Central Fl. Then in the fall i use it too scoop my minnows for speck fishing. It would work great for wild shiners too

UNBELIEVABLE!!! The quality of this net-thing is top flight! It is the Maverick Supersonic of little net-thingy's. It even has that rebel, "I don't play by the rules" attitude that Maverick displayed when he was competing for the Top Gun trophy against Ice Man. With this net thing-a-magig, I can catch all kinds of things, like snails, gophers, rattle snakes, and water buffalo (the small ones.) I highly recommend this thingy for anyone with a "screw you" attitude!

These are pretty sturdy but we are using in saltwater, so did get very rusty pretty quick. But they still function fine for our bait well. Just not sure how long will last. Probably more suited for freshwater.
