Answer: It says origin is USA, however, don't buy it. Go with a Rapala Filleting knife. You'll be glad you did and its not much more in cost.

Answer: That's the length of the whole knife, handle and all. The actual cutting surface (blade) is 7.25". Nice knife for the $$

Don't do it! Package arrived late, and in a crazy large box for such a tiny item. However the real problem lies in that the blade is filthy, and extremely dull. Save your money, don't buy this product.

This is a very good knife. The sheath is not a great fit but for being in a draw or tackle box it works. But, the knife works great and for the price its 5 stars.

Works well for filleting - thin, sharp and flexible. I also use it to trim abalone, which is pretty tough.

I use this to carve foam insulation. After breaking the handles on two store bought fillet knife I went looking for a tang through model. This knife is of good steel with good flex. Nothing fancy, just a quality knife.

I just received this product and opened the box it came in. The plastic within the sleeve popped out along with the knife. The knife managed to cut through the plastic and the sleeve. I have no clue if the packaged it like this or if it just was slowly rocking in the package causing this. Regardless I would no place this sleeve and knife anywhere near my belt line. The sleeve is pretty much garbage now.

I got this knife today from Amazon. It is not too sharp, but I am hoping that I will be able to put an acceptable edge on it. The blade had flex as you would expect from a fillet knife. The handle is well made. The sheath is not that good, but I will be putting this in my tackle box, so it won't matter anyway. I haven't had the chance to cut anything with it, but I will give it a try soon.

as delivered this knife is crap. blade was so dull and the edge was so rough i wouldn't cut anything. took over an hour of hand sharpening to get the blade somewhat sharp but still not what a fillet knife should be. much better options for the money

This knife is so much better than the price shows. Don't be scared of it because of the price, I actually bought it as a backup because I figured maybe it wouldn't be too bad since it was so cheap. I was pleasantly surprised as it was sharp flexible and seems well made. The sheath is junk but it comes in a box just right to leave in the cabinet until you need it.
