Answer: no idea but this net received all torn up. Was cheap and not any good. Not like the Frabill nets I have so sought refund.

Answer: According to the Frabill website, the 3058 Sportsman Rubber Net has a handle length of only 18" and the wire hoop is 7" by 7".

Answer: I would say about 3 ft plus.

Answer: Don't know but it was very heavy. I didn't use it much.

Answer: I don’t have it with me to measure, but I would guess about 20in. I’ve netted a couple of 25lb redfish with it. Best feature though, is treble hooks don’t get stuck in the netting.

We ordered this to replace another net. Love that it is lightweight and seems like it will be durable.

fishing fanatic : Not so sure

I got a couple of these on sale for $30 initially intending to replace a few nets that are a bit worn out on my boats. The metal in these feels on the cheaper side and the handle was a bit longer than expected for it to work out well in my smaller boat. I ended up doing some surgery to my existing nets thinking they'll last longer with some loc tite and zip ties than these new ones will. The net is worth $30, but I was expecting the quality of the normal selling price with the name Frabill behind this net. I am disappointed in the lower quality, but for $30 it is an ok price for the low quality you get. I am giving these to a few friends where this low-quality net will be a great improvement from what they are using.

Received broken. Returned. If it can’t make the trip to me it won’t make the trip with me. The netting was nice. The ring the net sits on is weak. Will say that it is super light. So if you are ok with it being fragile, and are looking for something light with a net that is basically clear in the water this is for you. I need something a bit more robust. Too bad it would have been nice to have a clear net.

Absolutely too weak and fragile. Not like my previous fabrill nets. Send it back for refund. Came with the net torn in many places and box that it was in showed damage. However, entirely too thin and asked for refund. Customer service was good about it and quickly done.

Great net with the rubber hookless basket. I sprayed Expanding foam into the handle so it would float and used some baseball bat wrap to give the handle some nice grip. Works awesome. Great value.

Steve Lewis : Nets with "cosmetic imperfections" won't save you any money! Fixing them is time consuming.

"Cosmetic imperfection" for this net means that there are large holes - the webbing has been sliced. 10% of the webbing cut is significant.

I repaired it rather than returning it but it takes nerves selling and shipping this like it is a product with scuffed paint or something.
You are not saving any money by buying "used" in this context. It was $20 instead of $31 but no bargain.

This net arrived in time for my annual fishing trip to catch big browns on the White in AR. Did not disappoint! Perfect size and no tangled hooks like prevois years in the cheap nets that come with the rental boats. We landed some nice fish with ease. Highly recommend this essential tool for larger fish!
