how large a waist will this fit?

Answer: I would say it will fit a 60” waist

Will this fit an extra small mens waist between 29-30 waist size?

Answer: Yes

What is the largest waist size this product will accommodate?

Answer: 60”

Will this accommodate a 2" butt cap? Removable Pin (I do not have a notch for Pin).

Answer: I do not have a rod with a 2" cap so I can not be sure but it looks like a 2" butt cap will fit after you remove the pin. (Which was very easy.) The entry into the socket has a maximum width of 2 1/4 inches near the middle and narrows to 2" toward the bottom. The socket varies from about 2 to 3" deep. For a very inexpensive waist pad this has worked well. We have used it while fighting a few big red fish and sharks. It is much easier on your arms that just holding the rod and reel.

Answer: I have Okiaya 80-130's gimbal butt rods. not sure what size . at least 1.5". it does have a removable pin. looks like it should be ok for your bigger cap without the pin. hope this helps

Answer: Mine measures 2 1/8" inside. It's going to be tight. The pin is removable.

The belt seems to be pretty good quality for the money. The pin broke after the second fish :( I replaced the pin with a new stainless bolt and it is fine. I would score this higher if it had a better pin

racer7 : An Acceptable Belt Easily Modified To Be An Excellent Belt

This belt is better than nothing by a long shot, acceptable for casual users but has too many flaws to be highly regarded "as is" by serious fisherman.
The good news- the cup design is decent and the outer padding around the plastic cup is a major improvement over using the cheaper version of this item that lacks the padding.
The problems- Velcro is the wrong choice. It is never truly tight enough, snags all kinds of gear and clothes, isn't properly positioned for some size users and will wear out easily in boating conditions- its basically a "cheap out" choice. Also the pin with lock nut invites loss of the pin.

BUT, I liked it well enough to make it into a fully adequate belt. Here's what I did
1) Replaced pin with stainless hitch pin retained by a stainless cotter pin. If you want the pin removable (I don't) use a 1/16" hitch pin instead of the cotter pin. Those parts came from my local Ace hardware store.
2) Using the thread cutter from the SO's sewing kit, I removed the velcro from the belt. Then I fitted the belt with a 2" YKK quick release buckle and 2, 2" plastic TriGlide slides to control the extra belt length. The buckle and slides can be bought on Amazon.
3) Added color coding tape to each of three modified belts that we carry. We fish with potentially as many as 3 anglers in the cockpit during multiple hookups which aren't rare when fishing sails, whites or tuna (for example, last trip we had a 7 fish tuna hookup with only three of us to bring them all in - our captain did a great job working with the anglers to keep lines untangled and we landed all of them with some great gaff action from the mate). Each angler is issued a color coded belt which he/she can pre-adjust to perfect fit and then simply grab and click it on when needed.

If you want to shorten the belt, it can be cut with scissors and ends heat - singed (melted a bit over a stove) to keep it from unraveling.

Properly modified, this is an excellent belt that is comfortable, fits perfectly, is durable enough, is light and small enough to take on the road, and works very well.

If you use standup gear 50 lb line or above and even if you want to get the most of out 30 lb standups in extended fights with large fish you will likely want a complete belt and harness setup where the harness connects to the reel lugs allowing one to use straps and body weight rather arms to hold the rod and put pressure on the fish. This belt isn't really suitable for that purpose- its position and size will not allow enough line recovery per rod stroke if used with a harness. FWIW, I do not recommend the AFTCO standup harness unless it fits you (see my review on Amazon) - the makers size claims are not at all realistic.

Great deal for the money. Ignore previous comments concerning pin. Looks like they took their advice and put a nice size bolt in there instead. And yes it is stainless steel. I can't imagine anything breaking it

I ordered the belt for land based shark fishing and it fits my needs. The only negative is the velcro strap which is hard to tighten around your waist, and always seems to have some slack allowing the pad to move. Overall a good belt for the price.
