Bm : Everything about the net is great, but...

My decision is to give the net 5 Stars for the concept and construction. I bought it for sturdiness and because heavy rubber minimizes fin splitting. My net arrived with a kinked hoop (was mistakenly sent that way, not damaged during shipping). Frabill responded by promptly sending a new hoop (5 stars!). After a few weeks I've discovered my new hoop has a distorted shape and net loops easily broke after little use. Anyone who reads this should be confident in the product considering my experience is unusual. Note: I will kindly ask for a replacement when everything freezes up.

This net seems well built and the fact that the handle slides down makes it fit in much smaller places. This is my first "rubber" net, as I've always had the big string kind and man when you catch something in those, the hook, spines, and bones can really tangle up (and don't even get started on catching blue crabs, man). This net is nice size for what I plan to catch off shore (in short of Tuna) and looks like it will hold up great. I'll update my reviews if anything should change
